Blessing Bell sigue los pasos de un hombre que podría ser la persona desafortunada de mayor suerte en el mundo. Una fabrica cierra dejando a Igarashi sin empleo en su primer día de trabajo. Más tarde, en ese mismo día, lo arrestan por asesinato. En la prisión conoce a un hombre que habla con su esposa muerta. Y así... Parece no haber termino para las aventuras de Igarashi. Pero en cada uno de los incidentes, Igarashi mantiene una cara inexpresiva, como un Buster Keaton japonés. Y la ironía de la indiferencia del personaje principal, mientras enfrenta estos inesperados eventos, parece sugerir la manera de Sabu de ver la vida con humor y sardónica observación.

Moemi is not overly pleased when Yukio brings home a couple of turtles to keep her company. Although Yukio works at home as a writer, Moemi feels neglected and desired a dog or a cat, but neither is allowed in their apartment.
