Kotone Furukawa (古川 琴音, Furukawa Kotone, 25 de octubre de 1996) es una actriz japonesa nacida en la prefectura de Kanagawa. Está representada por la agencia Humanité. Estudió ballet desde que era niña y se unió al club de teatro cuando estudiaba en secundaria y el instituto. Cuando tuvo que decidir a qué quería dedicarse, pensó en hacerse actriz, por lo que hizo una audición para Humanité y fue aceptada.

Izumi Wataya
Toru Kamiya performs a false confession of love to stop his classmates' bullying. The story begins when Maori Hino, a girl in his class (whom Toru has made the false confession to) gives him three strange conditions for going out with him: "Not to talk to her until after school", "To keep communication brief", and "Not to fall in love with each other". Gradually, the promise of "Not to fall in love" falls apart, and Toru finally cannot hold back his feelings and confesses his love to Maori. However, Maori confesses to him that she has anterograde amnesia, which causes her to lose her memory in a day. Her memories and experiences are reset every day, and she writes down the day's events in a diary and wakes up early in the morning to review them in order to keep her memory alive. Toru is devoted to bringing her as many happy days as possible.

Ishi
The novelist Shiga Naoya lives with his wife Haruko and their 4-year-old daughter Saeko. Their child before Saeko died due to an epidemic, and he believes thorough enforcement is a natural consequence. In 1918, the Spanish flu reaches Japan. As the number of infected people grows, Shiga starts to suspect their servant Ishi might have gone to watch a travelling entertainment troupe’s performance which drew a great number of villagers. It is something Ishi is likely to do. But when Shiga questions her, she says that she did not go. However, she makes him have misgivings on a regular basis and he decides to take this opportunity to make her quit. An uproar ensues. Shiga feels that he has become a tyrant and refrains from kicking her out but he loses all reason and faith in humanity amid the pandemic…

21st Century Girl is an omnibus feature that is of the girls, by the girls and for the girls. The work of 15 women directors under the age of 30, each of whom contributed an 8-minute film, the package highlights a range of genres, visions and thematic concerns.
A love story woven by a loveless mistrust girl, Kaede Tamaki who works for a small video production company, and a mysterious young man Seishiro who is attracted by her . Satomi Oshima and Kentaro Hagiwara, who also teamed up for the currently released movie "30 Minutes to Sayonara", were responsible for the script and directing, respectively.

Yasuaki Kano has his eccentric ways like running out of the hospital and saying that he wants to eat a banana late at night. Hisashi Tanaka thinks Yasuaki Kano is a lovely person. Yasuaki Kano develops a crush on rookie volunteer Misaki Ando. He asks Hisashi Tanaka to write a love letter for him, but Misaki Ando is Hisashi Tanaka’s girlfriend.
The original screenplay was written for the compilations’ release, taking inspiration from KIRINJI’s songs, as well as from the Melancholy Mellow theme which is also the releases title.
Onodera Toshiko / Ashita Matsuko
