“¡Ojalá encontrara un fósil de dinosaurio!”, piensa el soñador Nobita. El resto de la pandilla se lo toma a broma, pero Nobita pone todo su empeño en esta nueva misión para cerrar la boca a sus amigos. Ayudado por Doraemon, Nobita consigue que del huevo nazca un ejemplar de futabasauro, una especie autóctona de Japón, al que bautizan como Pisuke. Hisako Ōuchi (Naomi Tani) is the sexually-frustrated wife of the older art academy Professor Ōuchi (Minoru Ōkochi).
