When returning to Taiwan from abroad, Mika has a hard time coping with the "new normal" under the COVID-19 outbreak. Her mother is determined to fight the corona virus at all costs. The pandemic turns the household into a battlefield between Mika and her families. Confined to her tiny bedroom during the quarantine, Mika begins to notice inexplicable transformations of her body. Her absurd journey which is just like the quarantine version of Franz Kafka's The Metamorphosis is unfolding.
