Como Ash Ketchum se queda dormido el día de su décimo cumpleaños, termina recibiendo un Pikachu terco en vez del primer Pokémon inicial que quería. Pero, después de un comienzo un tanto complicado, Ash y Pikachu se convierten en buenos amigos y compañeros, y, cuando consiguen vislumbrar volando al Pokémon legendario Ho-Oh, hacen planes para ir a buscarlo juntos, guiados por el Ala Arcoíris que se deja atrás.
At the far end of the Southern Seas, where none had dared to go, there exists an island called Charanpo Land. At the center of that island is a giant baobab tree, which produces many eggs each day. Inside the eggs are food, clothing, and other daily necessities. The inhabitants of the island live carefree lives, dependent upon the eggs. But lately, more and more of the eggs have been turning up empty, which makes the inhabitants uneasy. Then one day, with a thunderous crash, and an explosion of rainbow-colored light, the baobab tree produces an egg of curious appearance. The next morning, the village chief Poncho tells the inhabitants that they must find that egg. Now the tiger Kometora and a group of children must find the egg within the forest.
Piplup, Chimchar y Grovyle están en la Tierra Oculta y se dirigen a la Torre del Tiempo a colocar los Engranajes del Tiempo, mientras en el Pokegremio el tiempo empieza a paralizarse. Luego de esto, nuestros héroes llegan a la Barca Arcoiris, donde los atacan los Sableye y se roban la Reliquia de Piedra de Chimchar para dársela a Dusknoir.

Película basada en la serie de videojuegos Animal Crossing, concretamente en la entrega Wild World. Ai, una chica que se acaba de mudar al pueblo de los animales, comienza una gran amistad con Rita, la cual sueña con ser diseñadora. Ai encuentra varios mensajes en botellas en la playa. Viendo a su amiga, comienza a darse cuenta de que ya es hora de que ella también comience a cumplir sus propios sueños, por lo que decide llevar a cabo los encargos de dichos mensajes para poder ver que pasará en el festival de invierno del pueblo.
