The first Polish post-hipster melodrama, in which Matylda, Helena and Juri need to take responsibility for the roles they play in their social microcosm. During the production of the play based on Aristophanes’ „Birds” the three artist friends face the painful truth about themselves. Someone regrets abandoning someone. Someone seduces the director of the play, because they believe in polyamory. Somebody thinks that the war has never ended and one must never surrender. Someone else claims that it’s all about how you fall and you should know how to drop. And in the meantime, somebody decides to express an unusual declaration of love.

At the weekend before Nina’s First Holy Communion, her brother with his family come for a visit together with Kaja – Mula’s younger sister, who disappeared suddenly 6 years earlier. Kaja is Nina’s biological mother. Mula is afraid that unstable Kaja might want to take her daughter away.
