Para este corto contó con la colaboración del luego realizador Paul Grimault, en su primer trabajo de animación por la técnica de Stop motion. En 1988, Grimault realiza un corto de animación, en color, fundiéndolo con las viejas imágenes en blanco y negro del antiguo film de Aurenche, con el que se iniciará el cortometraje. A su vez, el corto está incluído en "La table tournante" (1988), recopilación de cortos de Jacques Demy y Paul Grimault.
