When their neighbour Stipe suggests renting their son’s room to tourists, Marko feels insulted but Ankica manages to talk him into it. Renting rooms is easy money, especially for retired people, but having an unknown man sleeping in his son’s bed troubles Marko.

According to Petkovič, in today's Slovenia, rap is the one and only form of music that discusses the state of our society and of human relationships without any inhibitions. Peter is in his early forties and until recently he worked in a factory, but after Slovenia's integration into the European Union, the factory closed down and Peter and his colleagues have been made redundant. Slowly but surely, he is losing self-confidence and self-esteem.

In Yugoslavia's Livada prison in 1970, inmates led by Keber convince reluctant authorities to let them watch the televised Olympic final basketball game between the home country and the U.S., but taunting guards interrupt the viewing and prod the prisoners to the point of a riot. After a period of a kind of blissful anarchy where the inmates taste freedom, Keber enlists the house "intellectual" Mrak to devise a system of prisoner self-government aimed at forcing reforms on the state.
