Sascha trabaja hace varios años en “Queens”, uno de los muchos burdeles legales de Berlín. Maria es la chica nueva, independiente, inconformista y queer. Sascha se siente inmediatamente atraída por esa alteridad. Maria, a su vez, está fascinada por la absoluta calma con la que Sascha enfrenta la vida. En un ámbito en el que la feminidad se considera una mercancía, ellas experimentan juntas un único momento en el que la felicidad parece posible. Prüfstand VII is a 2002 German docudrama film directed by Robert Bramkamp, about the V2 rocket and the rocket research in the Peenemünde Army Research Center. The film deals with the history of ideas surrounding the rocket research and the conquest of space, with Bianca as the spirit of the rocket guiding the viewer around different aspects of rocket research. It is partly inspired by Thomas Pynchon's novel Gravity's Rainbow and features dramatization of some selected scenes from the novel.

Berlin, A Polterabend (i.e. a party on the eve of a marriage) is taking place in a café. An American has persuaded his German friend to marry him, after just one month of knowing each other. But while Anke has decided to create a family for her and her baby, Bruce has reservations. The party's member consist of various immigrants that happened to be there, each with his own problems and Anke's mother who objects to the marriage and is expelled by her own daughter.

After five years in prison, Ellen is ‘’out’’ and ready to come to terms with her past. She begins by looking for Katrin, who was present the night of the crime. Hearing Katrin’s voice on the radio and learning that she is a DJ at a local nightclub, Ellen decides to go and wait for her at the door. At first, Katrin is frightened and does not want anything to do with Ellen. However Ellen persists. Flashbacks fill in the history of Katrin’s relationship with an abusive husband and her intimate relationship with Ellen. It soon becomes clear that Ellen’s devotion for Katrin is no less potent than before. Gradually Katrin yields to Ellen’s wishes. Before long, past events catch up with them an unexpected sting in the tail reveals a major twist.
