Sato's re-imagining of In a Grove, on which Rashomon was based. In this version, instead of a web of lies and agendas, we get a web of desires, perversions like incest, and occult phenomenon like an oracle-demon, hallucinations, and human sacrifice. Once again, the story starts with a detective trying to unravel the story of a man and a woman encountering a bandit-rapist in the woods, but the real story keeps turning out to be unfathomable as layer upon layer of strange motives and events keep turning up.
Set Decoration
Originalmente lanzado en Japón como "The Return of Godzilla" en 1984, esta es la reeditada y re-titulada "Godzilla 1985". Añadiendo nuevas imágenes de Raymond Burr, esta decimosexta película de Godzilla ignora todas las secuelas anteriores y sirve como un seguimiento directo de "Godzilla King of the Monsters" de 1956, que también presentó escenas con Burr editadas en "Godzilla" de 1954. Esta película restaura el tono más oscuro del original, ya que somos testigos de la destrucción nuclear de un lagarto gigante que aterroriza a Japón.
