橋本環奈が、ゆるふわの専門学生で凄腕の殺し屋という2つの顔を持つ主人公を演じたアクションエンタテインメント。小学館「やわらかスピリッツ」連載の浅井蓮次と沢田新による人気コミックを実写映画化した。ピンク髪のショートボブでゆるふわな雰囲気を漂わせる菊野ケイは、昼は日商簿記検定2級合格を目指して専門学校に通いながら、夜はアルバイトをするという日々を送っている。そのバイトとは指名制の殺し屋で、ケイはそこで指名ナンバーワンの実力を持つ凄腕の殺し屋だった。ある時、学校帰りのバスでビジネスマン風の青年テラノと出会ったケイは、胸が高鳴りながらも、そのままいつも通りバイト先へ。この日の依頼は、巨大なヤクザ組織を仕切る3代目組長から、ある人物を殺してほしいというものだった。そのターゲットとは抗争の渦中にいるヤクザの会計士の男で、その男こそ昼間のバスで出会ったテラノだった。ケイ役を務める橋本を筆頭に、テラノ役の杉野遥亮、ケイに思いを寄せる同級生・渡辺役の鈴鹿央士ほか、馬場ふみか、森崎ウィン、大東駿介、太田夢莉、佐藤二朗、城田優、高橋克典、岡村隆史ら豪華キャストが個性的なキャラクターたちを演じる。メガホンをとったのは「おっさんずラブ」「極道主夫」などの人気作品を手がけてきた瑠東東一郎。
