Matti and Niila, growing up in the mid-sixties in the harsh and conservative environment of a Finnish-speaking part of Tornedalen in Swedish Laponia, close to the Finnish border. Their big dream is to become rock stars. In the present the now grown-up Matti feels guilt for the death of his drug-addicted rock star friend Niila.

Aparajito picks up where the first film leaves off, with Apu and his family having moved away from the country to live in the bustling holy city of Varanasi (then known as Benares). As Apu progresses from wide-eyed child to intellectually curious teenager, eventually studying in Kolkata, we witness his academic and moral education, as well as the growing complexity of his relationship with his mother. This tenderly expressive, often heart-wrenching film, which won three top prizes at the Venice Film Festival, including the Golden Lion, not only extends but also spiritually deepens the tale of Apu.

とある夏、家族と共に避暑地にやってきた17才の少女ベイビーはそこで、ダンス・インストラクターのジョニーと出会い、愛し合うようになる。上流階級のお嬢様はやがて大人の女へと成長する。

フランソワ・トリュフォーの長編第一作。アントワーヌ・ドワネルはパリの下町に住む13歳の少年。学校ではいつもいたずらばかりして先生に目をつけられている。共稼ぎの両親は、夫婦仲が余りよくなく何かと口論ばかりしていた。そんなある日、遊ぶ金に困った彼は父の会社のタイプライターを盗んで質に入れようとしたが、すぐにバレてしまい、両親は彼を少年鑑別所に入れてしまう……。

1960年代後半、ブラジル・リオデジャネイロの貧民街“シティ・オブ・ゴッド”では銃による強盗や殺人が絶え間なく続いていた。そこでは3人のチンピラ少年が幅を利かせている。ギャングに憧れる幼い少年リトル・ダイスは彼らとともにモーテル襲撃に加わり、そこで初めての人殺しを経験すると、そのまま行方をくらました。一方、3人組の一人を兄に持つ少年ブスカペは事件現場で取材記者を目にしてカメラマンを夢見るようになる。70年代、名をリトル・ゼと改めた少年リトル・ダイスは、“リオ最強のワル”となって街に舞い戻ってきた…。

1959年、バーモントにある全寮制の名門進学校にやって来た新任の英語教師。破天荒な授業を通して、詩の美しさや人生の素晴らしさを説く教師に惹かれていった生徒たちは、彼がかつて学生だった頃に作っていた“死せる詩人の会”という同好会を自分たちの手で復活させる。ドラマの背景となる、初秋から冬にかけてのニューイングランド地方の風景も美しい。

When faced with the prospect of spending their first summer apart, the pals decide they'll swap the pants so that each girl in turn can enjoy the magic.

Accio and Manrico are two working-class brothers in 1960s Italy: older Manrico is handsome, charismatic, womanizing, and loved by all, while younger Accio is moody, hotheaded, and lives everything as if it was a war, much to his parents' chagrin. When the former is drawn into left-wing politics, Accio joins the fascists out of spite. His flimsy beliefs are put to test when he meets Manrico's like-minded girlfriend, falling in love with her.

シカゴ郊外の高級住宅街で暮らす高校生ジョエルは、裕福な家庭のひとりっ子。卒業を控えて浮かれる彼は、両親が休暇で不在中、悪友にそそのかされて美人売春婦のラナを家に呼ぶ。そこで有頂天になったジョエルだが、はめを外しすぎて父のポルシェを壊してしまった。高額な修理費が払えない彼は、両親がいない自宅にラナの仲間の売春婦たちを集めてパーティーを開き、参加者から会費を集めてひともうけと皮算用するのだが…。

快晴のシカゴ。サボりの常習犯である高校生フェリスはこの日、仮病でズル休みすることに。そして、彼の姉や校長をイラ立たせ校内も騒然とする中、フェリスは病欠している金持ちの親友キャメロンを誘い、車で街へと繰り出していく。さらにはフェリスのガールフレンドも学校から誘い出すことに成功。こうして3人は、パレードに飛び入りしてはロックを歌い踊るなど、休日を存分に楽しむのだった。だが一方、フェリスの自宅では、校長や姉がそれぞれフェリスの仮病を暴こうと待ち構え、まだ何も事情を知らない両親も帰宅しようとしていた…。

高校3年の冴えない男子生徒・ジムは、間近に控えた卒業を前に何とか”初体験”を済ませようと、同じく”バージン”の悪友達と共に恋人探しの大奮闘を開始する。仲間達が次々に恋人をゲットしていく中、間の悪いジムはシングルのままプロムの夜を迎えてしまう。

土曜の休日と言うのに学校に登校させられた高校生5人。彼等はさまざまな問題を起こした懲罰として自分についての作文を書かされるハメになった問題児ばかりだった。大きな図書館に軟禁状態にされ、何から書いていいのかわからないままだらだらと時間だけ過ぎて行く中、雑談からお互いの身の上話を交わし始めた彼等は次第に心を開かせて行く。＜ジョン・ヒューズ監督が、デビュー作「すてきな片想い」に続いてM・リングウォルドを起用し、その魅力を十二分に引きだして彼女の人気が大ブレイクするキッカケにもなった、いわゆる“ヤッピー映画”の傑作。＞

The adventures of a group of Texas teens on their last day of school in 1976, centering on student Randall Floyd, who moves easily among stoners, jocks and geeks. Floyd is a star athlete, but he also likes smoking weed, which presents a conundrum when his football coach demands he sign a "no drugs" pledge.

When a son and mother move to Seattle in hopes for a better life, the mother meets a seemingly polite man. Things go south when the man turns out to be abusive, endangering their lives. As the mother struggles to maintain hope in an impossible situation, the son has plans to escape.

Jiantan is a young boy who has to leave Xi'an after the death of his mother to go deep into the Tibetan prairies to start living with the father he barely remembers. His dad, LaGeBa, is a busy doctor who decided to depart from the city and reside in Tibet where he is the essential physician of the poor community he lives in. To help his father, Jiantan has to learn how to herd sheep. While trying to learn his new responsibility, he is saved by a stray gold-colored Tibetan Mastiff. Both Jiantan and the big dog help each other as they try to adjust to this new environment.

Before going off to World War II, Frank Arnold (Richard Crenna) relocates his wife, Ann (Claire Bloom), and son, Joshua (Richard Thomas), to New Mexico. Joshua has a difficult time fitting in, finding himself a minority in a predominantly Latino community, and his mother doesn't fare much better, treating her loneliness with increasing quantities of alcohol. At length, Joshua makes some friends and begins to adjust, but bad news from overseas threatens to spoil what he's accomplished.
