After his wealthy family prohibits him from marrying the woman he is in love with, Devdas Mukherjee's life spirals further and further out of control as he takes up alcohol and a life of vice to numb the pain.
暴君ガルバトリックス支配下のアラゲイシア帝国。辺境に暮らす少年エラゴンは、ある日森の中で青く光る石を拾う。だがそれはドラゴンの卵で、やがて青い雌ドラゴン・サフィラが誕生する。エラゴンは語り部ブロムからドラゴンとドラゴンライダーがこの国の平和を守っていたという歴史を聞く。一方、ドラゴンの誕生を知った王は刺客である魔物を放つ。魔物に叔父を殺されたエラゴンは、最後のドラゴンライダーとなる使命を負う。

前作から2年。CIAのパメラ・ランディは、ベルリンである事件の調査を行っていたが、何者かの襲撃を受け、調査チームの一人が死亡。時を同じくして、ボーンたちにも危険が迫る。人目を避けてインドのゴアで暮らしていたジェイソン・ボーンと恋人のマリーに刺客が迫り、マリーは殺されてしまう。ボーンはCIAが自分を始末しようとしていると推測してCIAを追い、CIAのパメラは現場に残されたボーンの指紋から襲撃犯はボーンだと考えボーンを追う。そしてベルリンとモスクワを舞台に、次第に「トレッドストーン計画」に隠された真実が明らかになっていく。
