シノプシス
1958年、南極。日本の第1次越冬隊員たちは、第2次隊員と交代すべく昭和基地を後にした。だが悪天候が続き、ついに第2次隊員たちは上陸を断念、越冬の中止が決定される。樺太犬の世話係を務めていた潮田と越智は、その知らせを聞いて驚愕する。基地には15頭の犬が残されているのだ。だがもはや連れ戻す余裕はなく、2人は断腸の思いで南極を後にする。帰国した潮田は、犬の飼い主たちへの謝罪の旅を始める。
