Road to Life (1955)

1912年、処女航海に出た豪華客船タイタニック号。新天地アメリカを目指す画家志望の青年ジャックと上流階級の娘ローズは船上で運命的な出会いを果たす。身分違いの恋を乗り越え強い絆で結ばれていく2人。しかし不沈を誇っていた豪華客船は皮肉な運命に見舞われる‥‥。

1961年、空軍でテストパイロットを務めるニール・アームストロング（ライアン・ゴズリング）は、NASAのジェミニ計画の宇宙飛行士に選ばれ、ヒューストンの有人宇宙センターで過酷な訓練を受けながら他の飛行士たちとの絆を深めていく。NASAが目指すのは、宇宙計画のライバルであるソ連もまだ到達していない月面着陸。ニールたちは使命感を胸に、この前人未到のミッションに挑んでいく。

Santiago, capital of Chile during the Marxist government of elected, highly controversial president Salvador Allende. Father McEnroe supports his leftist views by introducing a program at the prestigious "collegio" (Catholic prep school) St. Patrick to allow free admission of some proletarian kids. One of them is Pedro Machuca, slum-raised son of the cleaning lady in Gonzalo Infante's liberal-bourgeois home. Yet the new classmates become buddies, paradoxically protesting together as Gonzalo gets adopted by Pedro's slum family and gang. Spain, 1937.
