The All New Adventures of Laurel & Hardy in For Love or Mummy (1999)

今から約3000年前。大神官イムホテップはセティ1世の愛人であるアナクスナムンと恋に落ちる。セティ1世から仲を疑われた2人はとっさに彼を殺害。イムホテップはアナクスナムンを生き返らせることを彼女に約束し逃亡、アナクスナムンは自害する。死者の都ハムナプトラへ赴き儀式を行うイムホテップだが、完遂を目前にして王の兵団が乱入。儀式の中断によりアナクスナムンの蘇生は失敗、部下の神官たちは罰として生きながらミイラにされ禁断の呪いをかけられる。

現代から約5000年前のテーベ（紀元前3078年頃）。屈強な戦士スコーピオン・キングは世界を征服すべく、大戦を起こした。7年にも及ぶ大戦の果てに敗れたスコーピオン軍は「アム・シェアーの聖なるオアシス」まで逃げ延び、最後はスコーピオンのみとなった。死の瞬間、スコーピオンはアヌビス神へ誓いを申し出た。「自分の命を助け、敵を倒させるなら、自分の命（魂）を捧げよう」というその願いにアヌビス神は応じ、自らの軍勢を与えて敵を倒させた後、スコーピオンを永遠の僕とする。

現代から、約2000年前の古代中国。五行を操る魔力と、強大な武力を持った皇帝は、全土制圧の野望に取り付かれていた。その達成の為、不死の力を必要とした皇帝は、妖術師の女ツイ・ユアンに不死の力獲得を命じ、部下のミン・グオ将軍を伴わせ、遥かシルクロードに派遣した。そこでツイ・ユアンは不死の魔術を発見する。目的を果し都に戻って来た2人だが、彼女がミン・グオと愛し合うようになったことを知った皇帝は、2人に卑劣な罠を仕掛けた。愛するミン・グオが処刑される姿を目の当たりにしたツイ・ユアンは、深い悲しみと怒りから皇帝と臣下全員に呪いをかける。

イラク。米軍の軍曹ニックは、空爆の跡地で古代の遺跡を発見する。考古学者のジェニーとともに調査したところ、遺跡には古代エジプトの王女アマネットのひつぎが眠っていた。アマネットは自らの王位を確かなものとするため、父王や赤ん坊の王子を殺し、生きながらミイラとして封印された呪われし王女だった。ひつぎを英国へ運ぶため輸送機に乗り込んだニックとジェニーだが、上空でニックの相棒が王女の呪いに体を乗っ取られる。

トランシルバニア。ドラキュラが支配人を務める“モンスター・ホテル”は今日も大盛況。ドラキュラの娘メイヴィスと人間の青年ジョニーとの間にはかわいい息子デニスも誕生した。そんな矢先、息子を普通の人間として育てたいメイヴィスたちと立派なモンスターにしたいドラキュラが衝突、メイヴィスたちは米国に引っ越すべく家探しを始める。一方、ドラキュラは彼らの留守中、デニスにモンスターの英才教育を施そうとする。

1911年。フランス人ジャーナリストのアデルは、昏睡状態に陥ったままの妹を目覚めさせるため、古代エジプトの伝説に残る《復活の秘薬》を追い続けていた。やがて彼女は、エジプト第19王朝ファラオ・ラムセス2世の墓にその鍵が眠ると突き止める。一方そのころ、パリではなぜかジュラ紀の翼竜が卵の化石からよみがえり、市民を恐怖に陥れていた。エジプトから帰国したアデルは秘薬の行方と翼竜事件の重大な関係に気付き……。

モンスターがくつろぐための場として、ドラキュラが故郷のトランシルバニアに作ったモンスター・ホテルで、彼は一人娘メイビスを大切に育ててきた。そんな彼女の118歳の誕生日を祝うべく世界中のモンスターが集まっている館に、人間の若者ジョナサンが迷いこんでしまう。そのことが仲間に知れる前に彼を人間界へ戻そうとするドラキュラだったが、あろうことかメイビスとジョナサンが恋に落ちてしまい……。

A group of archaeology students awaken an ancient mummy. After being trapped in a time loop, the only way they can escape, is to defeat the mummy. As the body count rises, it seems the Mummy has to collect the souls of those who woke him to be able to walk the earth - for good.

ハリウッド黎明期に一世を風靡した喜劇コンビ、ローレル&ハーディの晩年を描く。黄金時代は遥か昔に過ぎ去って忘れ去られ、体力も衰えた二人の間には亀裂が生じていた。最後と決めて出かけたヨーロッパツアーだったが、往年のファンたちの前で公演を重ねるうち、お互いの大切さを再確認し舞台への情熱を取り戻していく・・・。

The first segment features an animated mummy stalking selected student victims; the second tale tells the story of a "cat from hell" who cannot be killed and leaves a trail of victims behind it; the third story is about a man who witnesses a bizarre killing and promises never to tell what he saw and the "in-between" bit is the story of a woman preparing to cook her newspaper boy for supper.

Ollie is in love with a woman. When he discovers that she is already married, he tries to kill himself. Of course, the suicide is avoided and the boys join the Foreign Legion to get away from their troubles. Finally, they are arrested for trying to desert the Legion and to escape the firing squad by stealing a plane.

One by one the archaeologists who discover the 4,000-year-old tomb of Princess Ananka are brutally murdered. Kharis, high priest in Egypt 40 centuries ago, has been brought to life by the power of the ancient gods and his sole purpose is to destroy those responsible for the desecration of the sacred tomb. But Isobel, wife of one of the explorers, resembles the beautiful princess, forcing the speechless and tormented monster to defy commands and abduct Isobel to an unknown fate.

An ancient Egyptian priest named Imhotep is revived when an archaeological expedition finds his mummy and one of the archaeologists accidentally reads an ancient life-giving spell. Imhotep escapes from the field site and searches for the reincarnation of the soul of his lover.

Ollie and Stan deceive their wives into thinking they are taking a medically necessary cruise when they are really going to a lodge convention.

The Laurel & Hardy Moving Co. have a challenging job on their hands (and backs): hauling a player piano up a monumental flight of stairs to Prof. von Schwarzenhoffen's house. Their task is complicated by a sassy nursemaid and, unbeknownst to them, the impatient Prof. von Schwarzenhoffen himself. But the biggest problem is the force of gravity, which repeatedly pulls the piano back down to the bottom of the stairs.

Stan and Ollie try to deliver the deed to a valuable gold mine to the daughter of a dead prospector. Unfortunately, the daughter's evil guardian is determined to have the gold mine for himself and his saloon-singer wife.

Ollie Dee and Stannie Dum try to borrow money from their employer, the toymaker, to pay off the mortgage on Mother Peep's shoe and keep it and Little Bo Peep from the clutches of the evil Barnaby. When that fails, they trick Barnaby, enraging him.
