大殺陣　雄呂血 (1966)

江戸時代の東北の海坂藩。下級藩士の牧文四郎（市川染五郎）の父（緒形拳）は、藩の派閥抗争に巻き込まれ、冤罪によって切腹を命じられた。以後、文四郎は謀反をおこした父の子として数々の試練にさらされる。

Near the end of the nineteenth century, as the balance of power shifts from Shogunate towards the Emperor, Japan restlessly awaits the dawning of a new age.
