クリスマスの贈物としてジム夫妻のお屋敷にやってきたレディは、ご主人夫妻にかわいがられて幸せに育ちます。ある日、庭にふらっとやってきたのが自由を愛する野良イヌ、トランプでした。気さくで頼もしいトランプにひかれていくレディですが、夫妻が旅に出たことから、トラブルに巻き込まれてしまいます。
