アーサー王と円卓の騎士たちによって治められていたイングランドの理想郷キャメロット。若く美しいレディ・グィネヴィアは、英雄アーサー王の妃となるためにキャメロットへやって来る途中、王の仇敵マラガント一派に襲われる。危機一髪の彼女を救ったのは、自由と冒険を求めて山河をさすらう若き剣士ランスロット。やがてキャメロットへ向かったランスロットは、王への忠誠を誓い円卓の騎士として迎えられ、最強にして最も信頼の厚い“トゥルーナイト（真実の騎士）”となるが……。

The film chronicles Perceval's knighthood, maturation and eventual peerage amongst the Knights of the Round Table, and also contains brief episodes from the story of Gawain and the crucifixion of Christ.

A 14th century Crusader returns with his comrade to a homeland devastated by the Black Plague. The Church commands the two knights to transport a witch to a remote abbey, where monks will perform a ritual in hopes of ending the pestilence.

When aspiring knight Gareth goes in search of a fallen comet rumored to contain gold, he is shocked to instead find the dragon Drago.
