大学教授トレバーは、夏休みに甥のショーンを預かることになった。10年前に姿を消した兄マックスの息子ショーンは、父の形見の小説「地底旅行」を愛読していた。あるとき、トレバーはその本の中に、同じ地質学者だったマックスのメモが残されていることに気づく。マックスは何かを見つけていたのだ。メモを解読したトレバーとショーンは山岳ガイドのハンナを雇い、地球の中心への入口があると記されたアイスランドの山へと向かう。
恐竜たちが隕石の衝突で滅亡した直後、運良く難を逃れた原始人たちは隕石の残骸で遊び始めた。それは洗練されたものではなかったが、サッカーが生み出された瞬間でもあった。それから数百万年が経過した。主人公のダグは部族の仲間たちと楽しく暮らしていたが、文明の足音は着実に近付いていた。ある日、ヌース率いる都市国家の軍勢が谷に襲来し、ダグたちは為す術もなく故郷を追われることになった。仲間たちが悲嘆に暮れる中、勇敢なダグはペットのホッグノブと共に故郷へ帰還する道を模索していた。ひょんなことから、ダグはヌースがサッカー好きであることを知り、故郷をめぐってサッカーでの勝負を挑むことにした。

Wallace and Gromit open a bakery, accidentally getting tied up with a murder mystery in the process. But when Wallace falls in love, Gromit is left to solve the case by himself.

Captain New Eyes travels back in time and feeds dinosaurs his Brain Grain cereal, which makes them intelligent and non-violent. They agree to go to the "Middle Future" in order to grant the wishes of children in New York City. They are to meet Dr. Bleeb of the Museum of Natural History, but get sidetracked with their new children friends and run into the Captain's evil brother, Professor Screweyes.
First Stop...the Tar Pits, as Gary and Eric investigate the incredible creatures that came after the dinosaurs, from giant ground sloths to savage saber-tooths. It's a trip back to the age of monstrous mammals in this wild and whimsical blast into tour prehistoric past.
