アーケードゲームの世界に住む優しい悪役のラルフと親友の天才レーサー・ヴァネロペは、レースゲーム「シュガー・ラッシュ」が故障し廃棄処分の危機にあることを知り、部品を調達するためインターネットの世界に飛び込む。見るもの全てが新鮮で刺激的な世界に夢中になるヴァネロペと、早くもとの世界に帰りたいラルフは少しずつすれ違っていく。
