A story about Mr. Rossi and his dog who go on vacation and all the adventures they have, from leading an animal revolt to climbing the Andes, or heading to the beach and being serenaded by strange fish.

A golden whistle which can catapult him back into prehistory, or in ancient Rome, in Medieval time, on a desert island, in Fairy tale land, in ancient Egypt, in the far West or in the future.With whom? In this painful melodrama, an aging mother (Claudia Cardinale) attempts to cope with the progressive deterioration of her grown son due to his drug addiction. At first only manipulative, in addition to stealing from her he eventually becomes abusive and violent, and she must take strong measures if she is to save her own life, much less his.

権力者“プレイヤー”を目指す若手プロデューサーを主人公に、ハリウッドの内幕をシニカルに描いた作品。グリフィン・ミルは、大手映画スタジオのエグゼクティブ。高級4WDを乗り回し、多忙な日々を送っている典型的な業界人である。やり手のプロデューサーである彼のオフィスには、朝から売り込みのライターや監督たちでひきもきらない。そんなある日、いつものようにオフィスに出勤した彼は、ある一通のハガキを目にする。そこには彼を殺すといった内容が書かれていた……。

1958年、南極。日本の第1次越冬隊員たちは、第2次隊員と交代すべく昭和基地を後にした。だが悪天候が続き、ついに第2次隊員たちは上陸を断念、越冬の中止が決定される。樺太犬の世話係を務めていた潮田と越智は、その知らせを聞いて驚愕する。基地には15頭の犬が残されているのだ。だがもはや連れ戻す余裕はなく、2人は断腸の思いで南極を後にする。帰国した潮田は、犬の飼い主たちへの謝罪の旅を始める。

Celebrated Swedish opera star Karin Anderson is slated to appear in an internationally-telecast production of Tannhauser. Ms. Anderson balks at the notion of working with obscure Hungarian conductor Zoltan Szanto. The much-anticipated production may never get off the ground, thanks to labor-management difficulties, intramural jealousies, and clashing egos. Amidst all this chaos, the mismatched Anderson and Szanto fall in love.

The film takes place in 1973 during the Yom Kippur War in which Egypt and Syria launched attacks in Sinai and the Golan Heights. The story is told from the perspective of Israeli soldiers. We are led by Weinraub and his friend Ruso on a day that begins with quiet city streets, but ends with death, destruction and devastation of both body and mind. Various scenes are awash in the surreal, as Weinraub's head hangs out over a rescue helicopter's open door, watching with tranquil desperation as the earth passes beneath, the overpowering whir of the blades creating a hypnotic state. It is not a traditional blood, guts and glory film. There are no men in battle, only the rescue crew trying to pick up the broken pieces.

Desperate to break free from the poverty of his homeland, Elias boards a ramshackle people-smuggling trawler to France. But when the boat is raided by police, Elias leaps into the ocean, eventually finding himself washed up on a Mediterranean beach resort called Eden. So begins Elias odyssesy across Western Europe to Paris, where wondrous promise, helpful new friends and perilous dangers await him every step of the way.
