The story of one person's triumph over adversity: cameras followed the comedian on a very stressful comeback tour and caught the story behind some of her best loved material en route. Prior to her Sexie tour in 2003 and under extreme pressure to write, she delved into her own life for inspiration. So began an accidental voyage into her past that paralleled her world tour and culminated in a moment of revelation about the source of her relentless drive. Film contains exclusive never-before-seen footage including the famous 'wolves' material, Izzard's first student sketches and unicycle-riding as a street performer in Covent Garden. 1970年代、脇役俳優のオームは人気女優シャンティに恋をするが、シャンティは売れっ子プロデューサーのムケーシュと密かに結婚・妊娠していた。しかし、ムケーシュは、妻の妊娠を喜ぶどころか疎ましく思っており、ある晩、撮影中の映画のセットにシャンティを呼び出し、罠にはめて殺害。シャンティを助けようと駆け付たオームも、映画スターのカプール夫妻の車にはねられてしまい、搬送先の病院で息を引き取る。オームの死亡と同じ時、同じ病院でカプール夫人は男児を出産。その男の子はオームと名付けられて育ち、30年後、スター俳優として活躍するが……。
