カンザスの農場でおじさん夫婦と一緒に暮らす少女ドロシーは、ある日、竜巻に家ごと上空に巻き上げられ、愛犬のトトとともに魔法の国オズへとたどり着く。故郷の家に戻るためにはオズの魔法使いの力を借りる必要があると言われたドロシーは、早速魔法使いの住むエメラルド・シティを目指して旅に出る。その途中、臆病ライオンや脳のないカカシ、そして心を持たないブリキ男も仲間に加わり、一行は不思議な冒険を繰り広げていく。

プロテニスの花形選手だったトニー・ウェンディスは、資産家である妻のマーゴとロンドンのアパートに住んでいる。トニーはテニスのツアーのために自宅を留守にしがちだったので、それが不満だったマーゴとの夫婦仲は冷え込んでいた。夫の留守中にアメリカ人の推理作家マーク・ハリディとの浮気に走ったマーゴは、トニーと別れてマークと一緒になる気持ちに傾いていた。妻の浮気に気づいたトニーは、妻と別れるよりも、妻を殺害して資産を手に入れようと考え、緻密な殺害計画を練り上げる。

1938年のオーストリア、院長の命により厳格なトラップ家へ家庭教師としてやって来た修道女マリア。彼女の温かい人柄と音楽を用いた教育法で、七人の子供たちはマリアの事が好きになるが、父親であるトラップ大佐とマリアの衝突は絶え間なかった。だが、次第に大佐に惹かれている事に気づき悩むマリア。やがて大佐の再婚話が持ち上がり彼女は傷心のまま修道院に戻る。

If Bugs Bunny were to direct his signature inquiry--"What's up, doc?"--toward the modern-day Warner Bros. creative team, he wouldn't be far off. For 1001 Rabbit Tales, they've doctored up a batch of classic cartoons featuring the carrot muncher and his bumbling comrades and bundled them, near seamlessly, into a feature-length film. Here's the premise: Bugs and Daffy, both book salesmen, are competing to sell the most copies of a kids' book. Instead of burrowing a beeline to his sales territory (he should have made a left at Albuquerque), Bugs ends up in the castle of Yosemite Sam, here a harem-leading honcho. Sam's pain-in-the-spurs son, Prince Abalaba, needs somebody to read him stories; Bugs, who'd sooner take the job than suffer the alternative, that involving being boiled in oil, signs on.

This movie shows the idealized career of the singer Al Jolson, a little Jewish boy who goes against the will of his father in order to be in showbiz. He becomes a star, falls in love with a non-Jewish dancer, and marries her. In the end he chooses success on the stage.

Animated characters introduce a compilation of George Pal replacement animation Puppetoon short films from the 1930s and 1940s. Originally released in 80 minutes length, The Puppetoon Movie also exists in a subsequently expanded ten minutes longer version.

Zé is a very poor man whose most prized possession is his donkey. When his donkey falls terminally ill, Zé makes a promise to Saint Bárbara: If his donkey recovers, he will carry a cross - like Jesus - all the way from his city to Saint Bárbara's church, in the state capital. Upon the recovery of his donkey, Zé leaves on his journey. He makes it to the church, but the priest refuses to accept the cross once he discovers the context of Zé's promise.

The story begins when Toby (Ivan Jackson), a young English businessman, arrives in South Africa to take charge of a publishing firm. But as Toby makes friends with one of the black South Africans (Zaku Mokae), and as he registers both the subtle and more obvious, deep-seated racial prejudices of the minority white population, some of the truth of the oppression here begins to dawn. That is brought to a head when tragedy strikes.

In this Puppetoon animated short film (an Academy Award Best Short Subject, Cartoons nominee), a young Dutch couple find their idyllic countryside being overrun by unfeeling, unthinking mechanical men and machines that lay waste to everything in their path. In 1997 this film, deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant," was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry.
