シノプシス
A long time ago, there was a young man called Wang Qi. When he heard that there were many immortals in Lao Mountain, he went there at once. There was a Taoist who still looked young although he was very old. Wang Qi became one of his pupils. During the first month, Wang Qi went to the hills for woods with others every day and listened to the instructions of his teacher patiently. In the second month, he felt that he could not stand the hard and tiring life, but he still waited for the teacher to teach him the magical skills. クリスマスイブの日。ジェリーが住む劇場で開催されていたバレエ「くるみ割り人形」を見たジェリーと仔ネズミのニブルスは、自分たちも踊ることを夢見る。するとクリスマスの奇跡が起こり、その夢が実現。空っぽの舞台はおもちゃの国に変わり、ジェリーはオモチャの国の王様役に変身、バレリーナ人形と踊る。 ところがそこにトムたち野良猫が乱入し、彼らを率いる猫のボスが王国を乗っ取ってしまう。 こうなったらオモチャたちの作者「トイメーカー」に助けてもらうしかないとジェリーは彼に会いに旅立つ。仲間の顔ぶれは本物のオモチャになりたいオーナメントのポーリー、気の小さい木馬のネリー。ところが、猫の王様はトム率いる猫の兵隊たちを追っ手に放つ。果たして、ジェリーはトイメーカーの元にたどり着き、王国と捕らわれのバレリーナを救出できるか。

物語の始まりは、テレビスペシャル『ドラゴンボールZ たったひとりの最終決戦〜フリーザに挑んだZ戦士 孫悟空の父〜』で描かれたサイヤ人の故郷である惑星ベジータ崩壊の時まで遡る。
サイヤ人の中から伝説の超サイヤ人が現れ、いずれ自分の脅威となることを危惧したフリーザは、惑星ベジータもろともサイヤ人を皆殺しにしようとしていた。ただ1人そのことに気付いたバーダックは単身フリーザに挑むも返り討ちにされてしまう。ちょうどその頃、惑星ベジータからバーダックの息子・カカロット（後の孫悟空）を乗せた宇宙ポッドが辺境惑星に発射されていた。フリーザの兄であるクウラ一味はその一部始終を映像で見ていたが、地区を任されたフリーザの不注意でポッドを見落とした以上、弟自身が始末をつけるべきとして見逃した。
その20数年後、フリーザがサイヤ人に敗れたことを知ったクウラは、そのサイヤ人を滅ぼすためにクウラ機甲戦隊を引き連れて地球へと向かうのだった。
一方フリーザを撃退し、無事地球に帰還した孫悟空とその仲間たちは、山へキャンプに出かけていた。そこへ突如襲いくるクウラ機甲戦隊と戦う悟空だったが、一瞬の隙を突かれてクウラの光線を受けて息子の孫悟飯と共に滝つぼに沈み、悟空は重傷を負ってしまう。父を救うため、カリン様から仙豆をもらった悟飯は、機甲戦隊の猛攻に遭いながらもピッコロの助力を得て無事仙豆を届ける。しかし仲間のクリリンともども、機甲戦隊のサウザーに倒され、ピッコロでさえもクウラにやられてしまう。
無事全快した悟空は、ついにクウラと激突する。しかし、弟フリーザより1回多く変身できるクウラの最終形態に成す術が無い。その時、悟空の怒りが限界を超え、ついに悟空が超サイヤ人に目覚める。
ある日、宇宙から隕石が飛来し氷原に激突した。隕石の元へ駆けつけた観測隊のロンド博士たちが見たのは、DNAポケモン「デオキシス」だった。そこへさらにデオキシスを追って「レックウザ」が襲来。激しい戦いの末にデオキシスは敗れ、レックウザも天空へと帰ってゆく。その戦いのさなか、ロンド博士の息子であるトオイは戦いから逃げようとしたポケモンの群れの移動に巻き込まれ、それがトラウマとなりポケモンに触れなくなる。 それから4年後。ハイテク都市ラルースシティに到着したサトシ一行は、ひょんなことからトオイと出会う。トオイのトラウマを克服させようとするサトシだったが、ラルースシティにデオキシスが出現し、レックウザもまたデオキシスを追ってくる。
数百年前、オルドラン城は戦争に巻き込まれる危機に瀕する。城と運命を共にすると誓う女王の元から、その城に仕える波導使いアーロンは弟子のルカリオの元へと立ち去るが、戦いが始まろうとしたまさにその時、世界のはじまりの樹に光が灯り、戦いは防がれるのだった。 現代に至り、アーロンは城を守った波導の勇者の伝説として語り継がれ、オルドラン城ではその年の勇者を決めるためのポケモンバトルの大会が催されていた。その大会へ参加したサトシは見事優勝し、優勝者にのみ握ることの許された「アーロンの杖」を手にする。すると突然杖に光が灯りアーロンの弟子であったはずのルカリオが飛び出してきたのだった。
天下一武道会で悟空がピッコロに勝利してから5年。悟空はチチとの間に悟飯という息子ができ、幸せな日々を送っていた。そんなある日、ガーリックJr．の手下、ジンジャーら三人組が現れ、悟飯共々ドラゴンボールを奪っていく。七つのドラゴンボールを揃えたガーリックJr．は神龍から永遠の命を手に入れる。その背景には父、ガーリックと神様の間の知られざる関係があるのだが・・・ガーリックJr．を相手に苦戦する悟空。ピッコロの助太刀もあるが、危機一髪！その時、「おとうさ～ん」父の危機に悟飯の潜在的Ｚパワーが大爆発！
