After Hours (1961)

Professor Barbenfouillis and five of his colleagues from the Academy of Astronomy travel to the Moon aboard a rocket propelled by a giant cannon. Once on the lunar surface, the bold explorers face the many perils hidden in the caves of the mysterious planet.

1909年、人種差別が色濃く残るジョージア州。幼くして出産経験がある少女セリーにとって心の支えは、美人で頭がいい妹ネティだった。そんなセリーは“ミスター”と呼ばれる男性に嫁ぐことに。奴隷も同然の毎日を過ごす中、家出をしたネティがセリーの家に訪ねてくるが、ミスターは彼女を追い払ってしまう。やがてミスターは昔の恋人で歌手のシャグを家に住まわせるように。セリーはシャグとの出会いを機に自立を意識しだす。

シカゴ郊外の刑務所（ジョリエット刑務所）を出所したジョリエット・ジェイクと、彼を迎えに来た弟のエルウッドは、兄弟を育ててくれた孤児院に出所の挨拶に行くが、そこで、孤児院が5000ドルの税金を払えないため立ち退きの瀬戸際にあることを知る。孤児院の危機を救うため援助を申し出る二人だが、犯罪で得た汚れた金は要らないと逆に院長に追い払われてしまう。

Semi-retired Michigan lawyer Paul Biegler takes the case of Army Lt. Manion, who murdered a local innkeeper after his wife claimed that he raped her. Capturing Avatar is a feature length behind-the-scenes documentary about the making of Avatar. It uses footage from the film's development, as well as stock footage from as far back as the production of Titanic in 1995. Also included are numerous interviews with cast, artists, and other crew members. The documentary was released as a bonus feature on the extended collector's edition of Avatar.
