カウボーイ人形のウッディはアンディ少年の大のお気に入り。だがそれも誕生日プレゼントでアクション人形バズ・ライトイヤーを手にするまでの事だった。NO．1の座を奪われたウッディは何とかバズをこらしめようとするが、バズはバズで自分が本物のスペース・レンジャーだと思い込んでいる有り様。そんな二人がふとしたいざこざから外の世界に飛び出してしまう。なんとか我が家へ帰還しようとする二人だが、なんとアンディの隣に住む悪ガキのシドに捕まってしまった……。

シカゴを震撼させていた連続殺人鬼チャールズ・リー・レイは警察に追い詰められ、近くの玩具店へ逃げ込む。そこで彼は刑事に撃たれ、そばにあった人形に呪いの言葉を唱えながら絶命する。数日後、6歳の誕生日を迎えた少年アンディは、母カレンからおしゃべりするチャッキー人形をプレゼントされるが、その人形こそ、チャールズの魂が乗り移った呪いの人形だった。やがてアンディとカレンの周囲では奇怪な事件が起こりだした。

新しい仲間とともにウッディ達は楽しい日々を過ごしていた。そんなある日、アンディの部屋にビデオが届く。ウッディ達は早速スイッチオン。見てみるとそれはバズが主演のビデオだった。 バズは仲間のワープと共にリトルグリーンメンを探しに星にいた。しかし、相棒のワープはザーグによって殺されてしまった。

師匠のシーフー老師に連れられて新たな修行へと向かうポーだが、そこではカンフー・マスターになるための最大の試練が待ち受けていた。
