Follows the lives of two couples who live in the same neighborhood. Kim Man-Suk delivers milk on a motorbike at dawn. He curses a lot, but actually has a warm heart. One day when he goes up a slope, he meets Ms. Song - a lonely woman who works hards by collecting and selling scrap paper. Man-Suk feels something special toward Ms. Song. Jang Kun-Bong works in a parking lot. Jang Kun-Bong has a wife who suffers from Alzheimer's. He works from dawn until late at night. After work he comes home and takes care of his wife.

Nick and Meg Burrows return to Paris, the city where they honeymooned, to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary and rediscover some romance in their long-lived marriage. The film follows the couple as long-established tensions in their marriage break out in humorous and often painful ways.

75-year-old Cho Nam-bong and 71-year-old Lee Mae-ja are a couple suffering with dementia. After being married for 45 years, the couple couldn’t even remember when they were in a good relationship. However, as their memories fade by the day, their dreams and romance that have been forgotten rekindle.

Sung-Chil works at the Jang-Soo Store which is owned by Jang-Soo. Sung-Chil is stubborn and has a bad temper, but he changes after meeting Geum-Nim. Geun-Nim runs a flower shop and her daughter Min-Jung does not like her meeting Sung-Chil.

In a countryside house in the Ecuadorean Andes Mountains lives Christine, a paralytic old woman who has decided to be isolated from the world. In that place, she found refuge in old memories of her first love, Manuel. Years after getting married and widowed from another man, Christine and her daughter, Julia, decide to put together a plan in order to reunite two young people at their countryside house. Christine's drive is for them to fall in love, so she can relive love through their eyes.

Erika has cancer and wants to die with dignity. Ruedi, her husband, does not want to live without her, so they decide to depart this world together. Everything is ready: someone is going to help them, but Ruedi suddenly has doubts. A reflection on “assisted suicide”, recounted in a tragicomic vein.
