Eight friends meet in Odessa to look at their friend's new entertainment club. The club has many exciting rooms where you can play the usual games - "mafia" or "crocodile", but the main concept of the club is "Detectorroom" - a room with an unique and super-accurate lie detector. The owner of the club tries to dissuade his friends to play a dangerous game, but everyone wants to nerve their nerves and to find out each other's private secrets. Friends have a good time and joking with each other, but after four game tours (Fun, Strip, Full Play and Duel), they will never be the same again. But who knows, maybe, it's even better?
パラグライダーの事故のために首から下が不自由になり、車いす生活を送る大富豪フィリップ。介護者募集の面接にアフリカ系青年ドリスがやって来る。ドリスは不採用の証明書3枚で支給される失業手当が目的だったが、フィリップは彼を気に入って介護者に採用。介護の訓練が始まるが、マイペースのドリス。しかし、傲慢で気難しいフィリップに対してドリスがシニカルなユーモアや深い教養を示すうち、2人の間に友情が芽生えていく。
ビリー、パディ、アーチー、サムの4人組は、幼い頃からの大親友。ある日、唯一独身を貫いてきたビリーが若い娘と結婚することになり、ラスベガスで派手なバチェラー・パーティーを行うため、3人と久しぶりの再会を果たす。久しぶりに羽目を外すことに年甲斐もなく興奮する面々だったが、パディだけは浮かない顔をしていた。先立ったパディの妻のソフィの葬儀に、ビリーが出席しなかったのを根に持っていたのだ。しかし、アーチーがカジノで大勝し、最高級ホテルやクラブで派手に騒ぐうち、次第にパディにも笑顔が戻っていく。ところが、4人の前に美人の歌手が現れたことで、彼女を巡って再びビリーとパディは対立してしまう。対立の原因はそれだけではなく、実は二人には幼い頃から続く大きな確執が隠されていたのだ。
26年前に爆発事故を起こし問題となったロシアのチェルノブイリ原子力発電所。今では周辺の街も含め廃墟とかした土地になっている。物語は、今なお放射能の残る踏み込んではいけないチェルノブイリの居住地を訪れた観光客たちが、子供のような影を見かける。興味本意で調べはじめるが、一人また一人と得体の知れない影に襲われていく。
