シアトル。母が病で倒れたままで、酒に溺れる父と暮らす孤独な高校生アンドリュー。いとこのマットに誘われてパーティーに行くが楽しめない。マットや人気者の同級生スティーヴと近くで見つけた洞窟の中を探検するが、そこにあった不思議な物質に触れた3人は、触らずに物を動かせるように。その能力を使ういたずらを楽しむようになった3人だが、いつしか空を飛べるようになる。自分の能力に酔ったアンドリューは暴走を始める。
