トリトン王が治める海の王国。16歳になる王の末娘アリエルは、見たことのない人間の世界に憧れていた。ある嵐の日、船から海に落ちた人間の王子エリックを助けたアリエルは、ハンサムな彼に恋してしまう。彼を忘れられないアリエルは、魔女アースラに頼み、自分の声と引き替えに人間になれる魔法をかけてもらった。だが、魔法の期限は3日間。それまでに王子と相思相愛になれなければ、彼女の魂は魔女に奪われてしまうのだ。

In the Antarctic, after an expedition with Dr. Davis McClaren, the sled dog trainer Jerry Shepherd has to leave the polar base with his colleagues due to the proximity of a heavy snow storm. He ties his dogs to be rescued after, but the mission is called-off and the dogs are left alone at their own fortune. For six months, Jerry tries to find a sponsor for a rescue mission.

前作『リトル・マーメイド』で結ばれたトリトンの末姫である元人魚―アリエルと海辺の王国の王子―エリックの間に、陸と海を繋ぐ子供―メロディが誕生した。メロディの誕生に沸き立つ中、アースラの妹―モルガナが現れ、自身が姉の代わりに海の支配者になると宣言して消えてしまう。それから12年、その身を案じられて海の世界に関する全てを秘されて育ったメロディは、母のアリエルが陸の世界に憧れた様に、海の世界に憧れていた。

Princess Farah refuses to marry Sinbad until Prince Kassim, her brother, is able to give his consent. This pioneering documentary film depicts the lives of the indigenous Inuit people of Canada's northern Quebec region. Although the production contains some fictional elements, it vividly shows how its resourceful subjects survive in such a harsh climate, revealing how they construct their igloo homes and find food by hunting and fishing. The film also captures the beautiful, if unforgiving, frozen landscape of the Great White North, far removed from conventional civilization.

Herzog's voiceover narration explains that his film will not be a typical Antarctica film about "fluffy penguins", but will explore the dreams of the people and the landscape.

This documentary follows various migratory bird species on their long journeys from their summer homes to the equator and back, covering thousands of miles and navigating by the stars. These arduous treks are crucial for survival, seeking hospitable climates and food sources. Birds face numerous challenges, including crossing oceans and evading predators, illness, and injury. Although migrations are undertaken as a community, birds disperse into family units once they reach their destinations, and every continent is affected by these migrations, hosting migratory bird species at least part of the year.
