1998年8月、観布子市では少女による飛び降り自殺が多発していた。自殺した少女たちの関連性は不明で、場所はきまって巫条ビルという取り壊しの決まった高層ビルだった。両儀式はその巫条ビルの上空に浮遊する少女たちを目撃する。そんな中、式の友人である黒桐幹也が巫条ビルに近づいたのを機に昏睡状態に陥ってしまう。暦が9月に差し掛かろうとする頃、式は幹也を取り戻すため、夜の巫条ビルに赴く。

1995年3月、黒桐幹也は街で一人の少女と出会った。透徹した不思議な眼差しを持った少女に、幹也は一目で心を奪われてしまう。翌4月、観上高等学園の入学式で幹也はその少女と再会する。少女は「両儀式」と名乗り、人を寄せ付けない性格であったが、幹也には少しずつ心を開いていく。ある日、幹也は式のもう一つの人格である「織」と面識を持つことになる。自分は殺人者だと言う織に戸惑う幹也。そんな中、観布子市内では連続猟奇殺人事件が発生し、街は重苦しい雰囲気に包まれていた。

While traveling with his father, young Alec becomes fascinated by a mysterious Arabian stallion that is brought on board and stabled in the ship he is sailing on. In California, a group of women struggle with personal problems as their paths intertwine in unexpected ways. Dr. Elaine Keener, the sole caretaker for her aging mother, turns to tarot card reader Christine for spiritual aid. Christine grapples with her own angst due to her lover's debilitating illness. Meanwhile, a bank manager deals with an unwanted pregnancy, two sisters pursue romantic interests and a housewife gets back into the dating game.

The first story focused on Tai and Kari Kamiya four years before their adventure in the Digital World. It shows their first encounter with Digimon and what happened to them (as well as the other children). Tai and Kari wake one morning to find a Digi-Egg that came out of their computer the night before and the egg soon hatches, revealing a Botamon. The Digimon then evolves into Koromon and then Agumon (not the same one that became friends with Tai in the series, and yet, somehow, both Koromon and Kari remember each other), who then goes out and unintentionally destroys a good part of the neighborhood with Kari riding on his back. A second Digi-Egg appears in the sky to reveal an evil digimon, Parrotmon. Agumon then Digivolves to Greymon but isn't strong enough to beat Parrotmon and is knocked out. Tai grabs Kari's whistle and wakes up Greymon, who defeats Parrotmon and disappears with him.

"Kon-Tiki" was the name of a wooden raft used by six Scandinavian scientists, led by Thor Heyerdahl, to make a 101-day journey from South America to the Polynesian Islands. The purpose of the expedition was to prove Heyerdal's theory that the Polynesian Islands were populated from the east- specifically Peru- rather than from the west (Asia) as had been the theory for hundreds of years. The Aroma of Tea is a 2006 Dutch animated short film made by Michaël Dudok de Wit. It shows how a small sphere travels in a determined and rhythmical manner through landscapes, emerging at the end into a larger sphere of white light. Both the graphic brushstroke and the music, with its haunting rhythms, are strikingly simple and direct. The theme of the film, a quest followed by a union, is as old as time and recognizable despite its limitless variations.
