ミスコンで潜入捜査をして有名になったFBIのグレイシー捜査官だが名声の代償で仕事に支障を来たし、FBIのイメージアップのためのTV出演や自叙伝出版などの広報活動に専念させられることに。そんなある日、親友となったミスアメリカのシェリルとショー司会者のスタンが誘拐される事件が発生。親友の危機にグレイシーは独自に捜査を開始するが、護衛で付けられた若手女性捜査官サムはグレイシーに競争心をむき出しにし……。

Ostracized as a red in the 1950s, she fought for an inclusive movement community and mentored three generations of social justice advocates. Braden’s story explores not only the dangers of racism and political repression but also the power of a woman’s life spent in commitment to social justice.
