主人公である「僕」が病院で偶然拾った1冊の「共病文庫」というタイトルの文庫本。それは「僕」のクラスメイトである山内桜良 (やまうち さくら) が綴っていた、秘密の日記帳であり、彼女の余命が膵臓の病気により、もう長くはないことが記されていた。「僕」はその本の中身を興味本位で覗いたことにより、身内以外で唯一桜良の病気を知る人物となる。

「ブラック・ジャック ふたりの黒い医者」の併映作品として製作されたファンタジー・アニメーション。ブラック・ジャックに忘れ物を届けようと森に迷い込んでしまったピノコとラルゴ。やがてふたりは、ケガをした動物たちと出会う。そこでピノコはブラック・ジャックに成り代わり、動物たちと協力して救助活動に当たるのだった。

Kumi meets an old man who visits the park every day to paint the artificial flowers. The man told Jim that, near the coast Maratoran, Silver left the ship they were on went to the island on a small boat. Jim, who couldn't go at the time, left for Maratoran six years later. He met Silver's wife and son there.
