高校最後の夏休みが迫る中、親友のハジメから彼がひそかに思いを寄せている同級生・入江杏とのデートの約束を取り付けるよう頼まれた浅井由。だが、それが原因となって入江を怒らせてしまい、仲直りできないまま夏休みが始まった上に、彼女は遠くへと引っ越してしまう。スッキリしない気持ちを抱える浅井は、思い切って入江に手紙を出すことに。届いた返事から学校を辞めた真の理由を知った彼は、ハジメと一緒に彼女に会おうと片道200キロメートルの旅に出る。

八塩団地で“八塩ヒルズ”の開発計画が住民たちの反対で頓挫してから8年後。同団地にある同じ中学・高校に通って友情を紡いだ5人のうち、瞬、廉太郎、春彦、忠の4人は地元にある居酒屋で再会する。4人は社会人としてすべてが思い通りになっていない現実に悩んでいた。そこへもうひとりの親友、琢磨が帰国して合流するが、彼は不幸な子どもたちの親になっていた。5人は久しぶりにかつて遊びに行った原宿に向かってみるが……。
人の心を読むことができるため、能力者を狩る暗黒組織に追われる毎日を送る七瀬（芦名星）。能力者の絶滅をもくろむ組織の魔の手が迫ってくる中、七瀬と仲間の能力者たちは次第に追い詰められていた。そんな折、七瀬がひそかに愛していた予知能力者の岩淵了（田中圭）も、悲しい愛のメッセージを残して組織の凶弾に倒れてしまう。

浜美大に通う竹本（櫻井翔）は、ある日、一心不乱に絵を描く少女・はぐみ（蒼井優）に恋心を抱く。彼女は大学の教授・花本（堺雅人）の親戚で、天才少女とうわさされる転入生だった。はぐみのことが頭から離れない竹本だったが、彼と同様にはぐみを気にかける非凡な先輩・森田（伊勢谷友介）の存在が竹本の恋心をかき乱す。

子どものころから八塩団地で暮らし、同じ中学・高校に通って友情を紡いだ瞬、廉太郎、琢磨、春彦、忠は高校卒業以来、久しぶりに再会する。浪人して青山学園大への入学を目指す瞬、板前修業の道を選んだ廉太郎、スケボー修業で渡米した琢磨、地元スーパーに就職した春彦、今も暴走族である忠。そして八塩団地では再開発で“八塩ヒルズ”を作ろうとする面々とそれに反対する面々による対立がエスカレート。5人は団地を守れるのか。
Screenplay
東京・品川。世帯数約6000、69棟を構える八塩団地。この巨大だがヘンテコな団地に、中学校以来の腐れ縁で結ばれた少年たち5人組がいた。ごく普通の少年シュン、リーダー格のタクマ、通称“リッチ棟”に住むボン、八塩一悪運の持ち主ハル、暴走族総長チュウ。彼らはいつもつるんで青春時代を過ごしてきた。高校卒業も迫っていたが、将来のことも真剣には考えていない。ある日、高校最後の“原宿詣で”に出掛ける5人。そこで彼らは思い思いに好きなことを始め、それぞれに楽しい時間を満喫するのだった。
