Daisuke Bamba (Hiroki Konno) has a complex about his physical traits. He wants to become a director, but doesn't know what to shoot. Daisuke Bamba soon turns 32-years-old. 25-year-old actress Momoko Kinoshita (Sayaka Tashiro) is superstitous. When she was a middle school student, she saw a movie and, since that time, has wanted to become an actress. She has only played brief extras so far in her career. These two people then meet on a shooting set.

おかっぱ頭のスーパーマーケット大好き主婦・井上花子は、スーパー「安売り大魔王」の中で小学校時代の幼馴染・小林五郎と再会する。花子は「もう一つスーパーを見て欲しい」と五郎に言われついて行った先のスーパー「正直屋」のダメぶりを五郎に愚痴るのが、実は五郎がその「正直屋」のオーナーだった。 五郎は花子にスーパーの悪いところを直してくれと頼み、花子はレジチーフとして「正直屋」に勤務。近所で繁盛しているライバル店「安売り大魔王」と戦う事になる。 最初はスーパーのレジ係として勤務した花子だが、職人気質な人達がチーフに就いている各部門で問題が続発し、特に精肉部・鮮魚部とは事あるごとに対立する。やがて実績を買われて副店長に昇進した花子は顧客の意見を聞き反映する試みを行い、製品のリパック（店頭に置いてあった製品を回収し再度ラップし、また店頭に置く事）の禁止を店舗会議で直訴し五郎も承諾させ、正直屋の商売方針を改善。徐々に来る客も増えていくが・・

ボタン会社の経理課課長として、優しい妻やちょっぴり生意気だが可愛い一人娘にも恵まれ、念願だった一軒家も手に入れて、仕事や家庭に何の不満もない杉山正平。しかし、彼には満ち足りない何かがあった。正平は、ある日の会社の帰り、電車の中から見えるダンス教室の窓に、物憂げに佇むひとりの女性岸川舞を見つける。その美しさに目を奪われた彼は、数日後、そのダンス教室を訪れ社交ダンスを習い始めることに。 ほんの「スケベ心」から、家族にも会社にも内緒でダンスを習い始めた正平であったが、社交ダンスの魅力と会社の同僚青木富夫やプライドの高い高橋豊子、有閑マダム然としたたまこ先生といった個性的な仲間との交流を通じて純粋にダンスにのめり込んでいく。また、ある事件から最初は正平に心を閉ざしていた舞であったが、正平のダンスへのひたむきな姿を見るうちに、だんだんと心を開いてゆき、自らの心の傷も癒えることを覚える。一方、正平の妻は急に帰宅が遅くなったことに、浮気しているのではと心配し探偵を雇い正平の身辺調査を始める。 舞らの後押しで正平は豊子とペアを組んで東関東アマチュアスポーツダンス大会に出場することとなり、観衆の前で猛特訓の成果を披露することとなるのだが…。

平成ガメラシリーズ第1作。 監督に金子修介、脚本に伊藤和典、特撮監督に樋口真嗣を迎え、リアリティを徹底的に追求しつつ、新しい特撮表現に挑んだ意欲的な怪獣映画となった。 1995年。太平洋上に発見された謎の巨大漂流環礁が、黒潮に乗って日本に近づいていた。保険会社の草薙と海上保安庁の米森は環礁の調査に乗り出し、環礁の上で不思議な石版と大量の勾玉を発見。さらに、この環礁が生物であるということが明らかになる。 同じ頃、九州の五島列島・姫神島で、島民が「鳥！」という無線を最後に消息を絶つ事件が発生。調査に呼ばれた鳥類学者の長峰はそこで、島民を食らった巨大な怪鳥を発見する。 政府は怪鳥の捕獲を決定。長峰が中心となって福岡ドームに誘い込む作戦を決行するが、その内の１匹を取り逃がしてしまう。巣に向かって帰巣する１匹を自衛隊のヘリが追跡していた時、博多湾からあの環礁＝巨大生物が出現。向かって来る怪鳥を平手打ちで石油コンビナートに吹き飛ばして倒し、そのまま博多へ上陸。周りの建物を破壊しながらドームに向かって行く。更に、予期せぬ事態に周囲は大混乱に陥り、その隙を突いた２匹の怪鳥は自らを閉じ込めていた鉄格子を強力な超音波で切断して脱出。巨大生物も円盤のような姿となって怪鳥を追って飛び去っていった。 「最後の希望・ガメラ、時の揺りかごに託す。災いの影・ギャオスと共に目覚めん。」 古代の石板に記された碑文から、政府は巨大生物をガメラ、怪鳥をギャオスと呼称する。政府はギャオスの捕獲にこだわる一方、ギャオスよりも体格的に大きいガメラを危険視し、ギャオスを追うガメラを攻撃する。 ガメラの妨害を逃れ短期間で巨大に成長を遂げたギャオスは、エサとなる人間を求め東京へと向かう。ここにきてようやく政府は捕獲を中止し、ギャオスに攻撃を行うが、ギャオスは自衛隊の発射したミサイルを巧みに誘導して東京タワーを破壊させ、真っ二つに折れた東京タワーに営巣する。しかしギャオスの産卵直後、突如大きな地震が起こり、次の瞬間、傷の癒えたガメラが地中から出現。東京タワーごと巣を破壊したものの、ギャオスを取り逃がしてしまう。急いで飛び上がるガメラ。 今ここに、東京の空を舞台とした、二大怪獣による空中決戦の火蓋が切られた。

The Rinkaiji family, by all appearances, is a well-to-do Japanese family. The father, Nariyuki, works in an elite corporation, which gives his wife Yoshiko status in their suburban neighborhood. But the daughter Sugina, who herself has secretly stopped going to school because she is being bullied. One day, they discover that Nariyuki has quit his job. As Nariyuki decides to find a new job along with Sugina, Yoshiko, a firm believer in a life based on the company, soon finds her world falling apart.

台風の接近とともに言いようのない感情の高ぶりを見せ騒乱状態に陥る中学生たちの姿を瑞々しく描き出した青春映画の傑作。監督は「セーラー服と機関銃」「ションベン・ライダー」の相米慎二。東京近郊の地方都市。私立中学校のプールに夜、5人の生徒たちが泳ぎにやってくる。彼女たちは先に来ていた男子生徒に気づき、イタズラをするが度が過ぎて溺死寸前の状態に追い込んでしまう。翌朝、ニュースでは台風の接近を告げていた。以来、生徒たちの間で徐々に何かが狂い始めていくようだった……。

This story is based on the novel "Jo no mai" by Tomiko Miyao which is based on the life of painter Shōen Uemura (1875–1949), the first woman to be awarded the Order of Culture. The title refers to the masterpiece bijinga ("picture of a beautiful woman") that Uemura painted at the age of 61. The main character, Tsuya Shimamura, is born in Kyoto as the second daughter of a tea trader who dies before her birth. Tsuya, who loves painting more than anything and is hopeless at housework, attends art school and at age 15 receives the name Shōsui (from the characters for "pine" and "green") from her teacher. The crown prince of England purchases one of her works, propelling her to fame overnight. The novel portrays the remainder of her stormy life, during which she is impregnated by her teacher and raises a fatherless child; through it all she devotes herself to her painting, undaunted.

戦前の昭和、岡山の寒村に祖母と二人で暮らす青年・犬丸継男（いぬまるつぎお）は、村一番の秀才として名高い。ある日、村の風習である夜這いを知り、彼もこれに溺れるようになる。 徴兵検査を受けた継男は、当時の医学では不治の伝染病として忌み嫌われていた結核と診断され、「名誉の出兵」が叶わなくなる。このことが村人達に知れ渡り、女たちも彼を役立たずと馬鹿にするようになる。 村八分のような状況となった彼から恋人のやすよも離れ、次第に追い詰められた彼は村人達に対して、復讐を決行する。

Masao is falsely accused and jailed for the murder of a loanshark to whom he owed a lot of money. His sister Kiriko makes the long trip to Tokyo, specifically to accost Otsuka, Japan's top criminal defence lawyer, and plead with him to take her brother's case. They live in Kitakyushu which, though a city, she contends that the local lawyers are not up to the job. Otsuka contemptuously brushes her off. A year passes. Masao has suicided in jail, his appeal having failed due to the lack of interest and competence of the local defence lawyer. Kiriko returns to Tokyo, planning revenge on Otsuka for refusing the case and causing her brother's death.

In 1930, the chance meeting of a novelist and one of his fans opens the door to a series of mysterious events culminating in the death of a wealthy industrialist who may have been leading a double life.

Police investigators investigate the link between a serial killer's machinations and a young man who committed suicide.

Tetsu, is a honourable and noble yakuza caught in a conflict between rival clans, and obligations each has toward their yakuza boss and brothers. A railroad line brings changing times to a community. Because Tetsu can't stand by and allow a bunch of yakuza men to molest women, it forces him to battle it out with a knife wielding rival, the unfortunate incident leads to his boss losing face and him having to leave the family to protect it. But the rival family won't stop until they destroy Tetsu who will risk life and love for his brothers.
