Haruko
An anthology film consisting of three linked stories by different directors, all set on an Okinawan island. The first story, 'Aunt Reiko' concerns an opera singer who travels back to her home island to consult a spiritualist about the loss of her voice. The second story, 'Haruko & Hideyoshi' concerns an outsider to the island who is tricked into marrying an island girl after visiting the island god of fertility with her. The final story, 'Bomb Kids' concerns two kids in a punk band who set out to win (or steal) a large amount of money. Linking these stories is the ongoing search for an unexploded WWII bomb, a large model pineapple, and the possibility of a hotel development coming to the island...
刃傷騒ぎで殺された前任者の代わりに、派手な装束の美青年、奥田右京亮が南町奉行として赴任する。彼は若いながらも老中酒井に引き立てられた野心家だった。一方、同奉行所の同心にして仕事人の主水は、江戸市中を暴れ回る旗本愚連隊の事件を担当していた。長屋で愚連隊に殺された浪人について探りを入れる主水は、子連れの仕事人・文七やなじみの店のおかみ・おふくらの情報から、事件の裏に右京亮が潜んでいることに気付く。

家庭を捨て、新劇女優と同棲するなど、苦悩を抱えながらも自由奔放に生きた放浪の作家・壇一雄の自伝的同名小説を「蒲田行進曲」の深作欣二監督が映画化した人間ドラマ。作家・桂一雄は、先妻に先立たれ後妻としてヨリ子をもらう。ヨリ子は腹違いの一郎をはじめ5人の子どもを育ててきた。が、子どものひとりが日本脳炎にかかり重い障害が残ってしまうと、怪しげな宗教にすがるようになっていく。同じ頃、一雄は新劇女優の恵子の虜になり、やがて家を出て恵子と同棲を始める……。
時代劇のメッカ、京都撮影所。人情に篤いが激情家なのが玉にキズの大スター銀ちゃんと、その銀ちゃんに憧れる大部屋俳優のヤス。ある日、ヤスのアパートに銀ちゃんが女優の小夏を連れてやって来た。銀ちゃんの子を身ごもった小夏をスキャンダルになるからとヤスに押し付けに来たのだった。
Zenjiro (Masaru Shiga) is a lowlife criminal, roaming the country with his merry band of crooks, gamblers and rapists. When he gets done with his latest escapade of banging a samurai's wife, he finds that his love Okoyo (Eiko Matsuda), has managed to be recruited as one of Shogun Tokugawa Ietsuna's (Kantaro Suga) concubines. While attempting to win her back, Zenjiro becomes involved in increasingly murderous palace intrigues.
Two short stories set in Edo during the Shogun era. 1 - During a time when Christians are persecuted vehemently, Iori falls in love with young Christian girl. When she and her family are captured during a raid, his sadistic master takes her as his personal slave to torment Iori, and tries breaking her spirit by means of rape, torture and pure sadism. After Iori refuses to participate any longer he is exiled, but vows to get her back no matter what it takes. 2 - When Sutezo is forced to serve the barbarous master of a brothel in order to repay his debts, he becomes friends with a young girl named Sato in process. Together, they both escape and try to get by on scams and petty theft.
Constable
Based on a manga by Kosuke Miki and Tadashi Matsumori, this film follows the adventures of Yuki, who works in a Kyoto red-light district house of ill repute as a "tamawari," or "virgin-breaker." She's the gal who gets first dibs on the new recruits to the brothel (some willing, some not), and it's her job to break them in for future clients. The film finds Yuki involved with a group of political rebels and anarchists after the Peace Preservation Law was passed in 1925 and walks a fine line between black humor and severe cruelty.
1963年（昭和38年）、東京オリンピックを翌年に控え高度経済成長の真っ只中にある市民社会は、秩序の破壊者である暴力団に非難の目を向け始めていた。しかし広能昌三の山守組破門に端を発した広能組・打本会の連合と山守組との抗争は、神戸を拠点に覇を争う２大広域暴力団・明石組と神和会の代理戦争の様相を呈し、激化の一途を辿っていた。
昭和35年の広島市繁華街、白昼にやくざの杉原が殺される。所詮、ばくちのもつれによる殺しだが杉原は病気療養中の村岡組長の舎弟であり、彼の死で村岡組の跡目が空席となる。組の継承は組長から直盃を下ろされた者のみ資格があり順当にいけば村岡舎弟である打本昇[打本組]のはずだが、杉原の仇を討たないため周囲から推されずにいた。
Detective Sano
1950年（昭和25年）、広島市。無銭飲食により博徒大友組・大友勝利のリンチを受けた復員兵・山中正治は、村岡組組長・村岡常夫の姪で未亡人である上原靖子によって手厚く看病される。その縁で山中は村岡組組員となるが、ふとした事から靖子と男女の関係となり、それが村岡組長の逆鱗に触れ山中は若頭・松永の指示で九州へ逃れる。しかし九州での和田組組長射殺事件により山中の名は裏社会で大きく轟くこととなり、山中は広島への帰参を許され、靖子との交際も村岡組長の認める所となった。
Kawanishi Tamotsu
敗戦直後の広島県呉市。闇市の食堂でレコードを聞いていた広能昌三のもとへ友人が怪我をして駆け込んでくる。刀を振り回している暴漢に襲われたと言い山守組へ連絡を頼まれた広能は事務所におもむき大勢で現場に駆けつけ、広能は暴漢を射殺するが逮捕され刑務所に収監されてしまう。
The final chapter of the Hibotan Bakuto series. Oryu the Red Peony visits an old dying Boss of an ally family and promised her that she would help guide the new Boss. Meanwhile a turf war breaks out. When the family is betrayed from within and the rival family becomes violent, Oryu takes things into her own hands…

Junko Fuji returns as Oryu the Red Peony, a wandering female yakuza on a soul-searching journey after the death of her father. After collecting her sickly follower from jail, she is taken in by a fishing village. Feeling indebed to their generosity, she stays to work for the village and promises to leave her yakuza ways behind. When a dispute breaks out for the gambling rights to a local festival, the villagers are harrassed by a gang of thugs. When the harrassment turns violent, Oryu must decide wither to keep her promise or protect the villagers.
Tsunetaro Asakura AKA "Dynamite Tsune" is a talented gambler, but not infallable. After losing his Boss's money in a dice game he repays his debt by serving as a pit boss for a struggling coal mine in Kyuushu. Quickly there's trouble with the local mining competition, who doesn't always play a fair game. True to his hot-headed nickname, Tsune only gets into deeper trouble.

Ronin Cronie
The remake of Yoshikawa's novel continues with the second installment in which Takezo, soon to be Miyamoto Musashi, emerges from the Himeji Castle after three years of intense contemplation and philosophical study and starting on his epic quest to complete his skill in the Way.
A Ghost
In this first episode, we are introduced to Takezo, what Musashi used to be before he became the man of legend. His beginning are not exactly auspicious. He sides with the Toyotomi at Sekigahara, and as a result finds himself on the losing side of the historic battle. He and his friend Matahachi manage to escape the slaughter although the latter is wounded in his leg. They stumble across the young Akemi who makes her living with her mother Oko by robbing corpses of their armor and anything else they can sell. Oko takes it into her head to seduce Matahachi, which she does first by skillfully sucking the gangrene from his blood, and then just by sucking.
