Kurinosuke Furui (Ryu Morioka) grew up at an orphanage. He now works as a private detective. One day, he receives a request. The request is to collect money which was stolen by a woman who killed herself. During Kurinosuke Furui's investigation he uncovers a shocking truth.

This surrealistic comedy follows the life of Haruo Maekawa, a young man who makes a living catching squid. Haruo is obsessed with catching a legendary giant squid rumored to live in Tokyo Bay. Haruo's uncle Takashi, fallen on hard times, comes to stay with his nephew until he can get back on his feet. Uncle Takashi is addicted to energy drinks, and seduces any woman in sight, including Haruo's girlfriend Rika. While praying at a Shintō shrine, Uncle Takashi is bitten in the scrotum by a poisonous snake and dies. The uncle is destined to spend the afterlife in Hell unless his nephew and girlfriend can rescue him from the King of Hell.

Yasuko and Shizuka, friends and coworkers, come to be so much more after a terrible incident involving Shizuka’s boyfriend. After an intense fight that left Shizuka with a black eye, she takes her revenge by bludgeoning her boyfriend in the head, leaving his lifeless body on the bathroom floor. Yasuko pledges her support to Shizuka and tells her its all going to be ok, and that she will help take care of the body. The two women share a bed while staying with Yasuko’s sister, and things start to get hot and heavy.

Sex Machine tells of the affable but simple Hiroshi, who during one sweltering summer in a small, parochial town, moves in with his girlfriend, Haruka. Their lovemaking is as athletic as it is bizarre but a dark storm comes looming when Haruka's ex boyfriend comes knocking at the door.

Miki has a good job and works in an office. She's been dating Ryosuke and they're happy together... except for the fact that Miki is also in a relationship with her college professor Tanaka. Tanaka is trying to break up with Miki because of his wife, but Miki won't hear of it. Ryosuke is also unfaithful, and he has a one-night stand with Chihiro, who also has a boyfriend. The plot thickens when both girls discover they are pregnant, and don't know who to name as father. This romantic drama about relationships is proof that love can also come in squares.

The films plot hinges on a bizarre love triangle involving a loser ventriloquist, his assistant & a blind woman - Hikari is blindly (literally) in love with Daisuke, a failing ventriloquist yet when she finally musters up enough courage to meet him face to face and present him with some flowers backstage she mistakes his assistant for him. For some reason Daisuke and his assistant decide to follow through with the mistaken identity farce which leads to some amusing complications, particularly in the bedroom.

The film tells the story of Aiko, a 35-year-old mute woman who works in a bowling alley, and her brief romance with Yoshioka, a younger man who works as a postal carrier. The two meet when Aiko accidentally knocks Yoshioka off his bicycle, and they have a sexual encounter soon after. Aiko begins preparing lunchboxes and giving them to Yoshioka at his workplace as a way of expressing affection, which she cannot do verbally.

Yuji and Akiko are newlyweds. Yuji dreams of being a movie star. He lands the lead role in a Pink Eiga soft-core sex film. The director requires him to have sex with the actress. Akiko goes to her high school reunion and is raped by a drunken guy, and then hooks up with her ex-high school love. A pale-looking man, Kazuhiko, is being questioned by the police following the extremely bloody murder of a young woman. He begins his story with the day that two sisters, Akiko and Mayuko, moved into the house across from his. After helping the pair move in, he starts talking with the younger sister, and soon they become intimate. The relationship continues for a while, but one day the sisters suddenly pack up and disappear, but not before sharing their secret with Kazuhiko. What kind of secret could have caused him to commit such a murder? Or did he?
