長野県下伊那郡大鹿村。南アルプスを望むこの山麓の村では、300年以上にわたって大鹿歌舞伎が村人たちの間で伝統芸能として演じられ、親しまれてきた。今年もその定期公演が近づき、ふだんは村でシカ料理店を営む花形役者の風祭善が芝居の稽古に励んでいた矢先、18年前、彼の妻・貴子とともに駆け落ちして村を出奔した善の幼なじみの治が、認知症を患った貴子を伴ってひょっこり姿を見せ、かくして村は大騒ぎとなる。

議員の父親を持ち、津軽では有名な資産家の御曹司・葉蔵は人間関係がうまくいかず、周囲に溶け込むためにわざと失態を犯して笑いを取る日々を送っていた。高校に入った葉蔵は遊び人の堀木や詩人の中原中也と出会い、酒や女におぼれる放蕩生活を送るようになって、精神的に疲弊していく。

仕事を辞めたばかりの息子が、グラビアカメラマンの父親に誘われ避暑地の山荘へやってくる。息子は妻の不倫、父は離婚の危機と互いに問題を抱えながらも、 2人は亡き祖母が集めてきた古着のジャージを着て、夏休みをのんびりと過ごす。翌年の夏、2人は猛暑の東京から逃れるように山荘へ向かう。

大正初期。幼なじみとして育った侯爵家の子息・松枝清顕と伯爵家の令嬢・綾倉聡子はいつしか惹かれ合っていたが、互いにそれに気付かずにいた。そんなある日、聡子に宮家の洞院宮治典王から縁談が舞い込む。綾倉家にとっては願ってもないことで、また断わることなど許されない話でもあった。正式な婚約の勅許が下りた後、清顕はようやく自らの本当の想いを知る。聡子もまた、自分が本当に愛しているのは清顕だと気付く。

盲目のやくざ・市がある宿場町に到着した。その町はやくざの銀蔵一家に支配され、人々は苦しい生活を強いられていた。ここで市はおうめの家に厄介になる。賭場にて遊び人でおうめの甥の新吉と出会い、幼少時に盗賊に両親を殺害され、その親の仇を探して旅をしている芸者の姉妹と出会う。脱藩して職を失った浪人もこの町にたどりつき、剣術の腕を買われて銀蔵一家の用心棒を務める。とある飯屋で市と浪人は出会い、互いに相手の剣術の凄さを見抜くのだった。

吉村正子は、クリーニング店を営む母親を手伝う冴えない40過ぎの女性。家にとじこもりっきりで、恋人はおろか友人さえもいない。そんなある日、母親が急死してしまう。通夜の晩、ホステスをしている妹が正子に向かっていつものようにきつい言葉をぶつける。カッとなった正子は妹を殺してしまう。我に返った正子はその場から逃げ出す。そして、初めて外の世界へ出た正子の逃亡生活が始まった。

Hisashi gets fired from his temp job due to his impulsiveness. One day he meets Chikako, a housewife who constantly shoplifts at the supermarket he regularly goes. He somehow agrees to help her to look for her run-away son, Masaru. Unfortunate to Hisashi, Masaru starts following his around instead of returning home, after he was found by Hisashi. Then they end up stealing a gun from a police officer! In their course of running away, the similar two who cannot adapt to society very well start to develop a mutual friendship…

毎夜悪夢にうなされる夢二。そんな中、夢二は駆け落ち相手の彦乃と落ち合うべく金沢近郊の湖畔へとやって来る。だが、彦乃は現われない。そして、静かな村に銃声が鳴り響く。旅館の女将は、鬼松という男が妻と妻を寝取った男・脇屋を殺し山へ逃げ込んだため、山狩りをしているのだと教える。一方湖では、殺された脇屋の妻・巴代が湖面にボートを浮かべ夫の死体が浮かび上がってくるのを待ち続けていた。その姿を目にした夢二は次第に巴代の虜になっていく。

性格が“ブス”な女の子が、上京して様々な経験を重ねる中で自分の殻を打ち破って成長していく姿を描く。18歳になる森下麦子は片田舎で生まれ育ち、性格のひねくれた暗い女の子だった。そんな“心のブス”を治すため上京し、置屋を営む叔母・胡蝶のところで鈴女という名前をもらい芸者見習いをしながら高校に通うことになる。

At that time, one school (Shingon) offered extensive training in complex and very demanding practices which might eventually bring about spiritual purification and realization. Various Zen schools offered students a lengthy path, literally composed of a blank wall and unceasing meditation. Yet another school (Tendai) emphasized complex metaphysics and the study of philosophical systems. Basically, all of them were designed to cater to the few who were able to give up everything else in their lives and focus on liberation, such as scholars and noblemen. In this historical and biographical drama, this is the situation that the young Shinran (1173-1263) discovered when he began exploring Buddhism as an alternative to the violence and ceaseless civil wars that racked Japan at the time.

The Shinobi-no-Mono series was so successful that Daiei Studios dipped into the well one more time, making the best 60′s B&W ninja movie ever seen in the otherwise color-dominated year of 1970. Issei Mori directs Hiroki Matsukata as the reluctant leader of a small band of spies charged with kidnapping a noblewoman from a heavily ninja-proofed castle. The finality of the air slowly began to fill like smoke, and in all that had become dark the loyalty of the Ninja who dared to go shone like light as they entered a world shrouded in mystery. Things do not go as planned in what is possibly the darkest and most fatalistic of the already noir-ish 60′s fare. Both the decade and it’s distinctive style of shinobi cinema went out on a high note with Mission Iron Castle.

江島組二代目組長・江島美樹は、出所して、久しぶりの川崎に帰ってきた。同じ川崎の佐川組々長・佐川剛介の肝入りで、美樹歓迎の宴が開かれた。その席上、美樹は、佐川に“関東明和会結成発起人名簿”を示され、加入するよう要請された。美樹は、返事を預けた。美樹の考えも決らぬまま“関東明和会”の会長選挙が行なわれ、若いがやり手と評判の大沢良平が会長に推された。美樹の一票が自分の思うままにならなかった佐川は、美樹に言いがかりをつけてきた。それは佐川の罠だった。それを知らない憲治は、佐川組の子分を刺した。その結果、美樹は、関東ところ払いにされてしまった。江島組解散をせまる佐川に対して、大沢が代紋を預って、危機は免がれ、美樹は、旅に出た。だが旅の風は冷たく佐川の差し金で、行く先々の親分衆は会おうとしなかった。ある温泉で、旅の疲れをいやしていた美樹は、筒井という大阪のやくざに襲われた。温泉宿の板場の機智で危く難を逃がれた美樹は、隠れた女中部屋で、探していた憲次の恋人・秋子にめぐり逢った。そして再び襲ってきた筒井を倒した美樹は、秋子を連れて八王子に行き、そこから大沢に電話を入れた。そして、憲治と秋子は、電話で愛を確かめ合った。八王子から先へ入れぬ美樹のため、大沢と憲治は車を飛ばした。が、突如現われたダンプカーに激突され、重傷を負った二人にダンプから銃弾が浴びせられた。任侠一途に生きぬいてきた美樹は、ところ払いの身ながら、川崎に戻り、真昼の街頭で、恨み重なる佐川を真向から刺した。

江島一家二代目を襲名した江島美樹は大阪にやって来た。その頃、あくどい東西会の千田兄弟に絶縁状を叩きつけたことから島田が殺された。その日、東西会の五十嵐が、刑期を終えて出所した。美樹は通夜の席で島田組の再興を誓った。ところが、千田兄弟は島田の負債八百万円の期限切れをたてに家屋敷までも差押えにかかった。美樹はその話をつけるために東西会を訪ねたが、だまって帰す千田ではなかった。ライフル銃を発射しながら迫る一味から、美樹を救ったのは、九州からやって来た仁侠男荒巻だった。荒巻が一味相手に鉄腕をふるったことから、千田組の策略は一層悪辣になった。そして、千田にそそのかされた島田組の子分が荒馬親分の縄張りを荒した。この一件は、美樹に指をつめさせた。五十嵐は、度を重ねる千田兄弟の行為をたしなめたが効果はなかった。それどころか、千田に射たれ重傷を負う始末だった。やがて、美樹が短刀を構えて東西会に乗込んだ。五十嵐は仁侠の義理からひん死の身を美樹に向けなければならなかった。五十嵐を倒した美樹に千田たちの銃が火を吐いた。しかし、美樹の短刀は次々と子分を倒し、やがて千田の悪運もつきた。五十嵐は、美樹の活躍を見とどけると世を去った。

One of the nuns at Senjuan is Sister Shunko (Michiyo Yasuda). Unlike the usual nun, however, she often goes out to see the world, being of the opinion that nuns should not lead cloistered lives but should see something of modern life. She makes the acquaintance of a young girl named lkuko (Kayo Mikimoto) and saves her from the advances of a gangster named Goro (lchiro Nakatani). In the meantime she turns down several propositions and, in revenge, one of her admirers denounces her to the Mother Superior (Kuniko Miyake). This lady is of liberal views, however, and refuses to do anything about it. Then Shunko is visited by Goro's gang boss who wants lkuko back and says he will blackmail Shunko unless she agrees.

Ken Ogata plays Shiro Miyagi, a sprinter with Olympic aspirations whose dreams were shattered by WWII. A broken man, he leads the dissolute life of a gigolo until a chance meeting with a fiery young athlete named Hiroko (Michiyo Yasuda). Realizing that she has talent as a sprinter, Miyagi sees a second chance at Olympic glory in becoming her coach. Following Miyagi’s unconventional, military-style training, Hiroko sets a record for the 100-meter dash, but her greatest hurdle proves to be a “sex check” which all professional athletes must pass.

A prostitute and her stepfather are falsely accused of murder, imprisoned, sexually abused and tortured. The real murderer will be discovered - and the girl will take revenge.

精油所の技師河合譲治は酒も煙草も麻雀もやらず、上役や同僚から無類の竪物と思われているが、実は秘かにナオミという女を飼育していた。ナオミはまだ少女の面影を残しているが、譲治は理想の女を作りあげようと奇妙な執念をナオミにそそぎ、そして、ナオミと結婚した。譲治はナオミに教養をつけさせようと、ピアノやイタリア語を習わせたが、ナオミは学生の浜田や熊谷らのボーイフレンドと遊びまわり、勉強はそっちのけだった。そのうえ、ナオミがボーイフレンドの誰彼の見境もなく身を任せているという噂がたった。

日中戦争が激化した昭和15年。日本から中国本土に派遣された密使の一行が上海の地で襲われ、全員が命を落としてしまった。中野学校出身のスパイ、椎名次郎は上海に向かい、事件を起こしたと思われる組織の足取りを追う。やがて日中の和平を望まないスパイ団の存在が浮上するが、日本の第2の密使の一行が乗った飛行機が不時着する非常事態が発生。次郎と同僚の杉本は救助に向かうが、そこで激しい戦いに巻き込まれてしまう。

Keizo Tsujiguchi believes his wife Natsue was having an extramarital affair when their child was kidnapped and killed. He believes of her extramarital affair she was unable to watch over their child properly and blames her for their daughter's death. To exact revenge on his wife, he then adopts the killer's child without telling the truth to his wife or their newly adopted child.

A father decides to put his delinquent daughter into a temple in Kyoto known for its austere novitiate. Initially resistant to all forms of discipline, she ends up falling in love with the nun who is in charge of her.
