殺し屋組織の幹部高川から、プロと認められ得意満面の星は、愛人眉子を同乗させた車で、殺しの現場を通過して帰途についた。高川から電話が来た。「女連れで現場へ行くとは何ごとだ。すぐ逃げろ」。星はいつの間にかいなくなった眉子に疑惑を抱いた。また高川より電話が入った。「明日、眉子を消せ！」翌日、星は眉子が教会から出て来るところを射殺した。この殺しの報酬には、高級マンションと数人の裸女との酒池肉林があった。そんなある日、星は、死んだはずの眉子を見た。彼女は、乳房の下にカバーをしており、勿論彼女は無傷。彼女は高川の情婦で、星の監視役だったのだ。憎しみ合う二人だったが、いつしか陶酔の夜に溶けこんでいくのだった。翌日、高川が憔悴してやって来た。組織から見放され、殺し屋に追われていた。そして、その夜、巨大な殺し屋西郷が、高川と眉子と星を襲い、高川を殺した。翌日、腹話人形マリオの声で、星に電話が入った。教会へ来い、と言うのだ。教会に出向いた星は慄然とした。キリストの立像に眉子が、股倉を赤く開いてぶら下がっていたのだ。その後も殺し屋に狙われた星は、ライフルケースを抱え、地方の小都市へ落ちて行った……
