地方にある槙町小学校。5年2組の担任の八橋先生は、図工室で1枚の鏡を発見するが、その鏡の中には20年前に亡くなった体の弱い生徒、タイチがいると児童たちは噂していた。ある日の放課後、八橋先生や、良、繭子ら4人の教え子、良の母親の再婚相手の連れ子2人という計7人は鏡の中の世界に吸い込まれてしまい、そこでタイチと出会う。彼らとタイチが仲よくなったのが気に食わなかった妖怪や幽霊は、一同に襲い掛かる。
