「大統領の料理人」「ルージュの手紙」のカトリーヌ・フロが、社会復帰を目指す訳あり素人３人組と力を合わせて倒産寸前のバラ園の再建に奮闘する頑固なバラ育種家を演じる人情コメディ。監督は本作が長編２作目のピエール・ピノー。父が遺したフランス郊外の小さなバラ園を営むエヴは、バラ・コンクールでいくつもの賞を手にしてきた天才育種家。しかし近年は大企業に押されて、いよいよ倒産の危機に。そこで助手のヴェラは立て直しのためにと、職業訓練所から格安で紹介された３人を雇い入れる。やって来たの前科者のフレッド、定職に就けないサミール、異様に内気なナデージュといういずれも訳ありの３人。しかも園芸はまったくの素人で、再建の力になるどころか頑固者のエヴを怒らせてばかりだったが…。
