Minato (Nana Mori) is a university student and has a fear of germs. She isn't interested in looking pretty. 聖母マリア女子高等学院で、経営者の娘で人気者だった白石いつみが校舎の屋上から落下して死亡した。彼女の手にはすずらんの花が握られており、自殺、事故、他殺と、その死をめぐってさまざまな憶測が飛び交う。そして、いつみ主宰の文学サークルの誰かによって殺されたといううわさが立つ。いつみに代わってサークルの会長となった澄川小百合は、彼女の死をテーマにした自作の朗読会を開催。メンバー各自が、物語の中でいつみ殺害犯を告発していく。

学園でスターのような扱われ方をする一方、刹那的な毎日を過ごす高校生の零は、運命的に出会ったキラと新学期にクラスメートとして再会し、互いに心に傷を抱える二人は惹かれ合う。そこへ転校してきた零の中学の同級生の牧生は、零に特別な感情を抱いており、二人の仲を引き裂こうと画策。零に執着する牧生の思いは、いつしかゆがんだ方向へと変化する。

高校入学以降、パッとしない毎日を過ごしている相原ノボル。ある日、何かと懇意にしてもらっている先輩の宮崎瞬に呼び出され、自分の隣のクラスの生徒である百瀬陽を紹介された上に奇妙な提案をされる。それは瞬が校内で抜群の人気を誇る神林徹子という恋人がいるにもかかわらず百瀬とも付き合っているという噂を払拭するため、彼女とノボルが期間限定で恋人同士を装うというものだった。
