Three women who share memories of the Hiroshima disaster try to uncover the hidden family ties that may or may not bind them together.

Documentary made by Toho for the Masterworks reissue of all of its Kurosawa films. This one focuses on "Kagemusha" (1980).

Set in Edo-era Kyoto, this drama depicts the adolescent battles and the love between parents and children who are born and raised in the same tenement house.

戦乱の世を生き抜いた武将・一文字秀虎も70歳を迎え、家督を息子3人に譲ることを決意。長男の太郎には一の城、次男の次郎には二の城、三男・三郎には三の城をそれぞれ与えた上、3人兄弟、仲良く相和して暮らすように説く。だが、三郎は、父の今後の身を案じたのがかえって秀虎の不興を買い、地方へ追放されてしまう。さらに3人兄弟の城を泊まり歩いて余生を暮らすつもりだった秀虎だが、太郎、次郎にそれぞれ疎んじられる。

瀬戸内海のある島を舞台に起る、連続殺人事件を追う金田一耕肋の活躍を描く。横溝正史の同名の小説の映画化で、脚本は「幸福号出帆」の清水邦夫、監督は「夜叉ヶ池」の篠田正浩、撮影も同作の宮川一夫がそれぞれ担当。

巨匠・黒澤明監督が手がけた戦国スペクタクル巨編。武田信玄の影武者として生きた男の悲喜劇を荘厳にして絢爛な映像で描く。戦国時代。家康の野田城攻めの折り、鉄砲で撃たれこの世を去った武田信玄。弟信廉は信玄死すの報を打ち消すため信玄の影武者を立てる。男は盗みの罪から処刑されるところを信玄と瓜二つだったことから助けられたのだった。だが男にとって戦国の雄・信玄として生きることはあまりにも過酷だった……。カンヌ国際映画祭グランプリ受賞。

Minoru visits his home on Okinoerabu island for the first time in thirty years. Seeing the old man who used to be in love with his mother, Minoru recalls the old days spent on the island with his young, beautiful mother.

農業とエロチシズムを二本の柱として、単純再生産を基本としたユートピア集団の実現を計る人物と、偶然そこにまぎれ込んだ新左翼系の男女学生四人が中心となり、恋人交換、暴行、サディズムなど、さまざまな型の性を描きながら、よりよく、われわれが抱いている日本そのものへのアプローチを試みた作品。脚本、監督は「無常」でコンビを組んだ石堂淑朗と実相寺昭雄。撮影も同作の稲垣涌三がそれぞれ担当。なお、イナガキ・スコープというワイド版が一部使用されている。

Misawa Ihei (Nagato) is traveling with his wife Tae (Iwashita Shima) who abhors the practice of sword fighting for prize money. Tae is the daughter of the clan's chief counselor who married the low-ranking Ihei to avoid becoming the clan lord's mistress. Into the mix comes Oba Gunjuro (Tetsurō Tamba), a mysterious ronin who will do anything for money. This leads to a fitting climax as the forces of hate and love converge while the couple attempt to break through the border!

In 1730, the Tokugawa Shogunate orders the Yagyu Clan to repair a huge shrine. Since it cannot refuse the Shogunate's request, the impoverished Yagyu Clan tries to raise funds by obtaining a sword which holds the key to a wondrous, hidden treasure. After learning the sword's secret, Tange Sazen sides with the Yagyu Clan, but his motive seems to be more than just pure interest in the treasure...

豊臣方が関ケ原の戦いに敗けた頃のオハナシ。紀州九度山の真田幸村は家臣にクジ引きさせ、猿飛佐助と三好清海入道の二人を駿府へ旅立せ、徳川方の動静を探らせることにした。腹心の美女お国から報告を受けた本多佐渡守は、江戸から伊賀流の忍者・芥田九郎兵衛を呼び寄せると共に、諸国の忍術使いを集めて、佐助に対抗させようとした。
