Hitsujido Honpo, an established Japanese-style sweets company known for its traditional flavours and reliability, has maintained a modest popularity. To win a new segment of customers, it has embarked on new business development. The leader of this team of five young employees is 28-year old Kudo Mayuko (Takahata Mitsuki). Mayuko was headhunted by the current CEO Okazaki Kengo (Maruyama Tomomi), for her achievements in her previous job. However, she struggles with the difficulty of new business development and pressures within the company. One day, a “new” 68-year-old employee Niimoto Kazuo (Kusakari Masao) is assigned to be Mayuko’s subordinate all of a sudden. She is dumbfounded to learn that he is 40 years her senior and even feels anger. Mayuko is confronted with the question of whether he should do the old job he was proud of? Or a new job as a brand new employee, and assumes the role of mentor.

『一千兆円の身代金』（いっせんちょうえんのみのしろきん）は、八木圭一による日本のミステリー小説。第12回『このミステリーがすごい!』大賞の大賞受賞作。2015年秋、フジテレビにてドラマ化された。

　「面」　原作永井 豪（「面」ダイナミック企画）　ある日、未来（鈴木梨央）はクラスメートと一緒に、住職からお寺にある面にまつわる恐ろしい言い伝えを聞く。昔、和尚が自分の顔で面をはずす動作をした瞬間、体が消え、面だけが残されたという。その話を聞いて以来、子供たちにも異変が起き始める。　「地縛者」　原作伊藤潤二（「地縛者」『伊藤潤二傑作集「潰談」』所収　朝日新聞出版）　ある日、街中に、地面に縛り付けられたように同じ姿勢で全く動かない人間が現われる。危険だと誰も近づこうとしない中、「青空こころの会」で社会福祉士として働く浅野範子(前田敦子)は“地縛者”となった人たちに声をかけ始める。やっと聞き出した話から、その地に強い愛着があるために動けなくなっているのでは、という推測をたてる。「青空こころの会」のリーダー、早川善也(田中圭)は熱心に働く範子に目をかけていた。 　「ゴムゴムの男」原作尾田栄一郎「ONE PIECE」（週刊「少年ジャンプ」集英社）連載より　抗争で命を狙われ歩行できなくなるほどの傷を負った組の若頭・鬼頭（阿部寛）は、入院中の病院でフルーツと勘違いして、体がゴムのように伸び縮みするようになる“ゴムゴムの実”を食べてしまう。ゴムの力で再び奮起する鬼頭だが、すでに組からは邪魔者として扱われていた。そんな時、「ワンピース」の主人公・ルフィが病室に現れる。 　「蟲たちの家」　原作楳図かずお（「蟲たちの家」小学館）　夫、紘一(板尾創路)は自分の愛人・羽奈子(入山法子)に妻・留衣子(長谷川京子)はもう人間ではないのだと告げると、羽奈子を屋敷に案内する。かつて、紘一は留衣子をとても愛していたが、ある日帰宅すると、留衣子は若い男と一緒にいた。その罪悪感で留衣子はクモになってしまったのだ、と紘一は説明した。 　「自分を信じた男」　原作石川雅之（「自分を信じた男2」『週刊石川雅之』所収　講談社）　生まれて以来、存在感がなく誰からも忘れられがちな会社員、薄井次郎（稲垣吾郎）。ある日、薄井がファミリーレストランで席につくと、正面に男が座っていた。薄井はその男、影山（手塚とおる）に気付かず、空席だと思ってしまったのだ。存在感がないという共通点を持つ二人は意気投合。すると、影山は存在感のなさを利用して銀行強盗をしようと持ちかける。

Taishi lives with his father Kazushi. His mother left home when Taishi was very young and he barely has any memories of her. He believes that his mother left home to study in Paris. His favorite moments come once a week when he receives a letter from his mother. But one day, during Taishi's summer vacation, he learns that his mother isn't in Paris but in Shodoshima, Japan. Taishi then decides to take his pet dog with him and bicycle from his hometown of Yokohama all the way to Shodoshima. On his 500 kilometers trip to Shodoshima, Taishi meets various peoples and touches their hearts, while leaving behind small miracles. What Taishi doesn't know about his mother is that she suffers from memory loss and that's why she lives apart from her family. Taishi's father Kazushi soon learns that his son has left for Shodoshima and he sets out to find his son.

Young Furuhata, a 3rd-year junior high student from Tokyo, transferred to a school in the countryside due to family circumstances. He doesn't fit in at first, but he eventually gains a reputation as a detective and opens his own detective agency. One day, he hears about the town's legend of buried treasure, and he immediately begins unraveling the mystery.
