日ごろの嫌なことを忘れて憂さ晴らしをしようと、親友同士のエミリーとレズリーは、赤いマスタング車に乗って気ままなドライブへと出発。その道中、前をノロノロと走る大型のレッカー車をようやく追い越し、追い抜きざまに空き瓶をその車目がけて投げつけて走り去った2人だったが、その後、正体不明のドライバーが運転するレッカー車が、自分たちの車の後を執拗に付きまとうようになり、エミリーたちは不気味な恐怖を覚える。
