あたるたちは大財閥・面堂家に伝わる鬼姫伝説をモチーフにして自主製作映画を撮っていた。主役はラム。だが、撮影の都合で面堂家の守り神とも言われる老木・太郎桜を切り倒してから、ラムの身に次々と異変が起こり始める。まずラムの電撃のパワーが落ち、角がなくなり、飛行能力まで失ってしまったのだ。そればかりか、みんなの心の中からもラムの存在が消えつつあった。そのうえ、友引町自体にも奇妙な現象が発生。事件の真相を調べ始めたあたるたちは、太郎桜の根から鬼姫の遺骨を見つける。

He lives with a cartoonist and his wife and does his best to keep his cool amid the trials of everyday life in suburbia, like fussing human girls, the local tough cat Nyazilla - just like big grey lizard, a foe too fearsome to take risks with - and the females of his own species.
