略歴
1984年 滋賀県出身。中学生の頃から自主映画を制作し、高校卒業後も独学で映画を学ぶ。2010年、映画製作団体PANPOKOPINAを結成。現在までに８本の映画を監督し、国内外の映画祭で20のグランプリを含む46冠を獲得。2015年、オムニバス映画「４／猫」の１編「猫まんま」の監督で商業デビュー。妻であるふくだみゆきの監督作「こんぷれっくす×コンプレックス」（2015年）、「耳かきランデブー」（2017年）等ではプロデューサーも務めている。「100年後に観てもおもしろい映画」をスローガンに娯楽性の高いエンターテイメント作品を創り続けている。本作が劇場用長編デビュー作となる。

口コミで大ヒットを記録し、社会現象ともなった「カメラを止めるな！」のスピンオフ作品。「カメ止め」監督の上田慎一郎が製作総指揮・脚本を手がけ、同作で助監督を務めた中泉裕矢がメガホンをとった。アメリカ、ハリウッドのレストランでウェイトレスをしている千夏は、過去のある出来事から声が出なくなってしまい、髪を金色に染めてホリーと名乗り、新しい人生を歩もうとしていた。しかし、ある日ハリウッドにゾンビが現れ、人々を襲い始め……。「カメ止め」でも活躍した真魚演じる日暮真央を主人公に、約17分間の長回しやどんでん返しなど、本家「カメ止め」の特長やおなじみのセリフなどを踏襲して描いた。真魚のほか、濱津隆之、しゅはまはるみ、秋山ゆずき、どんぐり（竹原芳子）らおなじみのメンバーも出演。インターネットテレビ局「AbemaTV」で2019年3月2、8、9日の3日間放送されて好評を博し、「カメ止め」を最初に劇場公開した都内2館のうちの1館である池袋シネマ・ロサで期間限定上映。
