現実と区別できないVR空間が実現した近未来。過激化するVRゲームが問題視され、政府はVR世界に潜入して行きすぎたセックスや暴力を取り締まる検閲局Ц(ツェー)課を創設する。同課の検閲官スタスとアレックスは優秀なコンビとして任務をこなしていたが、あるとき重大なミスを犯してしまい、どちらかが辞職せざるを得なくなってしまう。上司はより優れたほうを課に残すとして、2人にVRゲームでの対決を命じる。
