A four-part film done in the unique style of each director, Matusbayashi Urara gives a portrayal of a struggling actress named Machiko who lives in Kamata. Machiko is the central axis of the movie as the film comically depicts what it means to be a "woman" and an "actress" in society through showing the patterns of life as conducted by her and the people that surround her.

山戸結希監督が企画・プロデュースを務め、自身を含め80 年代後半〜90 年代生まれの新進映画監督、総勢15 名が集結。“自分自身のセクシャリティあるいはジェンダーがゆらいだ瞬間が映っていること”を共通のテーマとして、各監督が8 分以内の短編で表現するオムニバス作品。

古都・京都の片隅に、100年以上の歴史を持つちょっと変わった学生寮がある。一見無秩序のようでいて、“変人たち”による“変人たち”のための磨きぬかれた秩序が存在し、一見めんどうくさいようでいて、私たちが忘れかけている言葉にできない“宝”が詰まっている場所。そんな寮に、老朽化による建て替えの議論が巻き起こる。新しく建て替えたい大学側と、補修しながら現在の建物を残したい寮側。双方の意見は平行線をたどり、ある日、両者の間に壁が立った。そして両者を分かつ壁の前に、ひとつの美しい女性が現れて……。

福岡県大牟田市出身の青年・田中亮太は漫画家を目指して上京したが、仲間のデビューやバイト先の夜逃げにショックを受けて夢破れ、故郷に帰ってきた。しかし、親の反対を押し切っての上京だったため実家には戻れず、同級生の家に居候させてもらうことにする。そんなある日、亮太は友人から地元の延命動物園でのアルバイトを紹介される。亮太は園長の野田をはじめとする個性的な飼育員たちに戸惑いながら、黙々とアルバイトに励む。

クリスマス・イヴなのに編集部で仕事をする青子。彼女は子持ちの中年男性・久保と交際しているが、後日、久保の娘かりんと会うことに。一方、青子の会社で清掃のバイトをするりほは、まぶしすぎる編集部の人々についてSNSの投稿でツッコミを入れていたが、それが青子の後輩・山内の目に留まり、コラムニストとしてスカウトされる。また、青子の妹ひかるはゆきちと付き合っていたが、一緒にいても煮え切らない彼に不満を抱く。

Ichiko works as a private nurse for a family she almost became a part of. While Ichiko cares for the grandmother, she is also a confidant to Motoko, the eldest sister. But one day, Motoko’s younger sister disappears. And the media soon reveal the kidnapper to be Ichiko’s own nephew.

Yuta is a high school student living in Shizuoka, Japan. His strong sense of justice makes him upset at the politics and bias in school. To change the situation, Yuta, together with four disgruntled friends, devises a plan to influence a mutiny at school.
